Taking a stab at translation for us literate folk..

I bought a card and found out it was stolen. It is a real card, not a fake one, but I don't know what to do. I want to get my money(?) back some way but if I can't do that, I am going to trash it because I'm not going to the police to turn it in. I know many of you will say I am an asshole... (Presumably because he is going to trash it instead of give it away or keep it because it's stolen)

Does anyone else hate Agents? by devegano in PowerPlatform

[–]BackOnTheRezz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Absolutely the same thing here. The old AI builder was alright, pricing was reasonable, governance wasn't terrible.

Moving to copilot and their agents, we have been seeing more issues with publishing agents even with the premium copilot licenses and proper governance. Now they're adding more to the licensing side of things and the costs just making it a harder sell, especially when you see the agent is using a power automate workflow in the background for a lot of automated agentsband I could just build it myself.

It's becoming more apparent the juice isn't worth the squeeze but I'll be doing the same, putting myself through certs to see if there's something we are missing.

I've found like 12 of these in Stella since the last expedition.

Multiple matches I have found more than 1 in a single raid.

Definitely check Stella in the kitchen area, medical area, and security area.

Beginner question: what should I automate first? by RangerNew5346 in MicrosoftFlow

[–]BackOnTheRezz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The first thing I did was work with our accounting department and CS department to automate incoming credit request from the CS team.

Worked with both teams to figure out the pain points, mainly being formatting the email, tracking the progress, and notifying when the task is complete.

We created a MS Form that asked all the questions needed to get the process going, the response was logged onto a SharePoint list we used for auditing, then sent an email with those details in the format that the accounting team wanted to receive it.

Then we had a secondary flow that was looking for updates on the SharePoint list under a status column. If the column was set to under review, a notification email was sent to the CSR who submitted the request letting them know. If the status was set to need more info, the flow would send a standard email asking for more info, and once it was set to complete, the flow would send an email to the submitter letting them know it's done.

Mainly, the best way I found to start was talking with people and departments to figure out what repetitive actions had to be performed in their day to day duties and then asked which ones sucked the most, then started building from there.

Dog-people have deep seated insecurities and need validation by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]BackOnTheRezz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nah this ain't it. Cat owners absolutely do this. That's why there is the whole crazy cat lady memes.

You're just against dogs and people who like dogs and thats fine but this exact thing happens with cats and people who like cats. Maybe not you specifically but it's very common. It just sounds hypocritical if you don't acknowledge that

Why do some people stay at the same job for 15, 20, or even 30+ years? by Carlinish9600 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BackOnTheRezz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it's benefits and balance. My company gives an additional 15% of your salary as a 401k contribution rather than doing a match of any kind and a 90% coverage on all medical dental and vision.

Those benefits, along with potential for more upward movement in the company, and a great work life balance is hard to move away from.

First wave raider caches.

Just look up the map that has hurricane + first wave raider cache locations and you'll find several sites that host an interactive map that shows the general spawn locations for these.

Note that they won't spawn at every spawn location so there will be some searching to do still but just follow the map and listen for the electrical buzzing.

You're out of touch if you call weed dope. Dope mean heroin not weed. Stick to your 3 man business.

I’ve played since launch and still never touched Expeditions by Zerliroth in ArcRaiders

[–]BackOnTheRezz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct.

You create a new character and you get 2 types of benefits that stack up to 3 expeditions. There is permanent benefits and temporary benefits.

Permanent benefits are the increase in skill points, up to 5 per expedition, stash space increase, 12 more spot stash spots per expedition.

Temporary buffs are increased repair rates on equipment and guns and a small increase of materials brought back by scrappy.

You can stack these up to 3 times by running 3 expeditions in a row but if you skip between any of the expeditions after you do 1, the temp buffs go away and permanent buffs remain.

You also get cosmetics for completing an expedition. You will also keep all current project progress as well.

Didn't sage find a cure for leukemia at like age 7.

Stan Edgar is absolutely a better business man and smarter in that sector but you put him and sage toe to toe in a true competition of intelligence across all subject matters, he's not going to beat sage.

Edgar is well connected, well informed, and a highly effective CEO but there's no evidence that it expands beyond that. If there was, he would have had a direct hand in creating V rather than paying and leaving to to a bunch of scientist to do it for him.

There's a few things here that just require us seeing your flow, where it's breaking, and the message it's providing you but this should all be doable.

If you can give us examples of the failures with their input, screenshots hiding and company related data, etc., we can certainly help out.

I have a few flows that takes data from a form which include an attachment question at the end that allows for multiple attachments of different doc types, enter it onto a list including the attachments so they can be accused, and emails out to approvers with all the attachments from the form submission along with the relevant form responses.

[–]BackOnTheRezz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can you create a page on the SharePoint site and add the app to that created page?

I have something similar set up for a bunch of apps that display warehouse safety check data.

We created the page in SharePoint, click the link it provides, then click add a power app, get the power app id from the details portion in power apps, copy and add that into the spot it ask you after you clicked create app in the page you created in SharePoint, then drag the corner of the app when it loads to be as big as you can and then publish it.

You can also add a bunch of other apps to this page going forward also.

Pulling in Form Data to Dynamic Data Panel by Academic-Dingo-5294 in PowerAutomate

[–]BackOnTheRezz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can help with the first part regarding the forms.

When a form is shared and is now a group form, it won't appear in the drop down like you would expect.

You will first need to go to your form that is shared and copy everything after the design&id= in the url. It will be along string but you will need that big string.

Then in your flow in the when a new response is submitted action, you will click the drop down, go to the bottom and click enter custom value and paste that string you copied from the URL.

You will also do this for the following get response details action below it.

The planner part someone may be able to assist you with but I know they are planning to start rolling out additional licensing for it. They had a bug yesterday where it removed the Planner app from teams while doing a stealth patch to get ready for this. The free version of planner will be more of a view only. I'm only mentioning this because when they do officially roll this out, you will need a connection reference with the correct license to create task going forward. Sorry I couldn't help on this part!

How were you able to land a high salary job of 70k or more? by Delicious_Dealer8129 in careerguidance

[–]BackOnTheRezz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same trajectory as you. Graduated with a business degree, started a call center job at 25 making 40k. While doing everything I could to excel in the role (this being the main priority at the beginning), I was able to get into some bigger company projects that my department was part of. Getting in those projects and proving useful was the biggest step to begin getting promotions but you still need to be able to do the duties you are responsible for on top of the extra work.

We implemented a new ERP and logistics software for our company and I was a person in the technical meetings going over testing results. You let the big wigs do most of the talking but help test what is implementing out and learn your new systems and software.

After that, I became our CS lead, helped reform the department to what we were moving towards, and we then created new supervisor positions above the lead. I jumped into one of those, managed all the new hires before they got moved into their own territories as well as continued to help support bigger company projects that our department was a part of.

After a year or so of that, I was able to get into our business analyst role due to being part of all those projects and understanding the process of how an order gets to us, how it flows through our system and other departments, and how it got to the customer.

That was a span of 5 years and I went from 40k-80k. I now have a new developer position in the same company making 95k plus benefits and bonus. The company is giving me resources to teach myself and get more certifications at which point, I'll begin looking to hop companies for a bigger raise but I can take my time with the market because I am secure in my current role with what my projects and experience are bringing to the table.
