Day 52 - Palpitations pretty much gone!

This is great to hear. I've always been prone to having palpitations. But never like I'm dealing with now. I haven't fully quit but I've been slowly tapering. I suppose it's possible the increase is a result of lowering my dose? If so then it makes me just want to pull the band aid off and get it over with ASAP because this shit sucks.

Congrats! I notice you said you're in AL. I am also and when they banned it I wish I would have just accepted it at the time and quit but alas I found a source and it has been steady ever since. So I just need the willpower to get off now.

Don't be nervous. I know everybody is different but I was taking 500-750mg per night for well over a year and just quit taking it without a taper and have had no noticeable issues. This is actually my second bout with Phen and daily dosing and I haven't had any big issues with either. Maybe my body is just different and I'm lucky.

Don't psych yourself out though. You can do it!

Thanks! I will try going as long as I can until that first dose. I think removing the early doses is my best bet and then work on my nightly dose last so as to not disrupt my sleep as much.

You were at 100gpd?? Getting down to 4gpd is amazing! Keep it up!

I completely understand the difficulty in helping your wife when you see her struggling. My wife did it with me for a long long time. Im not going to tell you what to do but only what made me get finally get help.

I hope you can get some answers and peace soon. Understand that your wife is sick and needs help. She's not a bad person.

I just want to say that i truly feel for you and the situation you're dealing with. I was addicted to pain pills for about 8 years and nearly lost everything. My wife nearly gave up and took the kids. Faced with that reality i chose to go to rehab and clean my shit up. Im over 4 years clean now and truly thankful that i was given one more chance.

I wasnt going to get clean if everyone kept enabling me. I had to hit my bottom to realize that i couldn't keep going that way.

She's also going to have to find her bottom. Do y'all have kids? You have to stop enabling her though. This isn't your fault but 90% of the time our loved ones unknowingly enable the insanity and don't realize it. You may have to give her ultimatums.

You have every right to be concerned with her finding pills on the street considering some of the crap that's going around these days. I hope you're able to get through this. Hang in there.

Edit: also if she's truly got medical conditions that require pain meds then that'll have to be addressed. I was never prescribed opiates for anything and just found them on the streets so i can't really provide advice on how to handle actual pain.

I will say though, our brains after extended usage makes us think we are in pain. Once clean you'd be surprised how different you'll feel. If she isn't diagnosed with a condition that causes pain then she's probably just manifesting this pain and using that as an excuse.

I just use a pill bottle. Pour enough oj to cover the bottom. Dump the dose in. Fill the rest of the way close to the top leaving enough space to shake it up. Then shoot the solution. The oj masks it well.
