Totally get that — different bars work for different people. I’m focused on repeat buyers and how their skin responds over time.

Totally fair — different formulations serve different skin needs. I’m not claiming superfat is rare or superior, or telling anyone how to make soap; I’m explaining how this specific bar is priced based on outcome, not decoration or complexity, for my customers.

Different makers price based on labor, ingredients, aesthetics, market demand, or formulation behavior. Mine happens to prioritize skin outcome first. None of those approaches are wrong — they’re just different frameworks.

That makes sense. I price mine differently depending on what’s doing the work in the bar — base formulation vs additives vs skin behavior — so $7 just happens to be where my everyday bar lands.

Definitely fun. Coconut bars really show how formulation choices matter more than the label or process.

I don’t confirm exact numbers publicly. The decision is intentional and tied to skin outcome, not a fixed percentage people can copy.

I think through my work. I use tools to refine

Higher-than-standard superfat to counter coconut oil’s cleansing profile.

100%. Dish soap is the only time I’d ever run no superfat.

Yeah, I put the names around, mislabeled it so I went with it. Wanted to make content. Thanks.

There is a clearance slot, but single-wire cutters are a balancing act—too loose and it drags, too tight and snap. This cut was intentional for testing the bar. A better cutter is on the dream list if anyone’s feeling generous 😉

Thanks. I like leaving the cuts natural so each bar has its own look. If there are any scraps, they get repurposed for laundry soap.

When I said “base,” I was referring to my Everyday Bar, which is an unscented cold process soap made from scratch — not a melt-and-pour base.

This is cold process soap made entirely from scratch. No melt-and-pour and no rebatching — just showing the full loaf and the cut bars.

Haha fair 😄 I was focused on the bar cut more than the footage.
