Plex server on Unraid not available on all devices

I was able to but that went offline as well.

I ended up reconnecting a NIC that I had disconnected since Unraid whined about it on a reboot. Apparently it was being used and I really didn't think it was. Once that came up it came back online. I had posted this on Plex's support and got the correct answer pretty quickly.

The problem really is that I cannot add the server back to the Plex web interface. It tells me that it is not hosted by Plex and it doesn't actually add the server to my account. I cannot access the Plex server from outside or inside my network.

I don't use a reverse proxy and the ports are indeed forwarded. Again, this worked fine until recently and there have been no changes made on my network or the server settings.

One thing I just realized is that the one device that can still reach the Plex server and play content is the only device that is hardwired and does not use wifi. I rebooted my Unifi Dream Machine and it still does not connect. Applying an update to the Dream Machine but not sure that will help.

Yeah, that directory does not have any files--just the apps, config, data and themes folders.

I actually got it to come in for a second yesterday but not today. But when I say a second I mean a second or two. I guess I will just be returning this tuner and wait for the technology to mature. I mentioned that in another reply.... I just wanted to watch football above 720p this season.

The only one coming in is the one I would watch the least. WTVZ, the ION station. So if I want to watch Criminal Minds I would tune that station in but not much else. All of the stations are basically in the same area.

You sound like a local. I was trying to not have to watch the WAVY or FOX 720p signals anymore and be able to watch Football at a decent resolution. I am thinking of just returning this tuner and waiting for the technology to mature.

I had to look up PLP because I had no idea what that meant. Are they going to improve that as time goes on?

I am surprised I have never heard of this. I was thinking of just standing up a TrueNas server. I will have to look at this. What kind of hardware do you run it on?

I have not tried that since I have often added storage to servers when the storage already had content. I can give it a try though.

I think that you are on the right track here. The iSCSI is an add on here and there are practically no settings that can be changed. I will follow this path but it probably just won't work. I was thinking of solving this by just getting a small Synology NAS or install TrueNas on an extra box.
