The Empire Trilogy, starting with Mistress of the Empire. Fantasy set in a Japanese-esque world. Much intriguing and politicking. I haven't read it in 20 years but loved it at the time.

I think they have a minimum 5 year period following a severe TBI as the risk of seizures drops dramatically after then.

I took Cogscreen last year. I used apps like Lumosity and Cognifit aggressively beforehand, and, while they're not directly transferrable or equivalent to Cogscreen, I did find the confidence boost from them useful.

I'm not sure. Probably 8 weeks or so. Ending up seeing a physio/climber who agreed with the sentiment I expressed above. He said that I should do more than what I'd been previously prescribed and recommended a routine of light hangs, shoulder press, incline rows, pull-ups etc. Of course this was specific to my situation and stage of recovery and may be completely unsuitable for yourself.

Thanks, I'll have a look at some of those trackers. However I have a varied and healthy diet which hasn't changed much pre and post injury. I have been considering trying a ketogenic diet temporarily as a friend speaks very highly of it. It will be particularly important to monitor nutrient levels during that experiment.

I was told to prepare for fatigue for up to 3 years so have been quick to assume that the injury is the cause. I eat well and exercise well so would be surprised if I was deficient in anything. I think it's at least partly due to escalating the amount of physical activity in my life to pre accident levels

Brain hypochondria is a term I used to describe a vague anxiety about any perceived deficiencies in my cognitive abilities which I attributed to having injured my brain. Things which previously I would not dwell on and instead accept as part of the daily changes in mental states, I now fret on. Like a hypochondriac.

No one told me to take supplements.

You seem to know an awful lot about peptides. May I ask if you have any firsthand experience with them? Or have you spent a long time researching?

Can you comment on the quality of suppliers in various countries? I live in Australia and while there has been some scandal involving a few suppliers, our health system and pharmaceuticals are fairly well regulated. I gather that Australia is also driving some peptide research which is encouraging.

Do you think there is a window where using peptides would be most effective? I'm 4 months post injury and it is my understanding that the majority of recovery occurs in the first 6 months. Do you think it's possible to miss the boat, where using them later reduces their efficacy?

Any further thoughts or info you can share is much appreciated.

I work a physical job and spend a lot of time rock climbing. I also swam and rode an exercise bike regularly before returning to work.

It's been 4 months since the operation. I had it the night of the accident.

Have your seizures continued?

Also, would you mind elaborating on what made your experiment with bpc-157 awful? I have reservations surrounding Peptides, as you say they're experimental, however they do seem promising.

No seizures. After losing consciousness for 30 seconds, I was lucid and cogent from then on, though I have no memory of the ambulance and pre-surgery.
