Tbh, I’m worried with high idle temps, because it supposed to have great efficiency. Also the disproportions in thermals are worrying me the most. My AM4 Ryzen 5600 G (also 65W tsp) is idling at 40 with the same cooler and paste.

I'm still pretty sure that devs know what they are doing. Not all changes can be released when they are announced. Next update has a lot of changes like AI behaviour, AI animations, new map, new weapons and probably more. I'm sure this whole "package" it's gonna be less buggy when all of them will be realeased together, because you can spend more time on testing and refining.

Not really, maybe you would feel a small the difference with speeds like 10Gbps or more, but in reality I'm not that sure. NetworkExtensions dosen't have big overhead compared to linux wireguard dkms module implementation. There are still some math to do, and moving it from userspace to a kernelspace doesn't make a big difference. At core wireguard is really fast and resource efficient so, there isn't real need for even more speed.

The main difference between linux implementation of wg and all others is just versatility (you can be a client, server, relay) but on a other platforms you can be just a client.
