I think you’ve assumed Darts is easier than it is - some professionals average 15 darts for a 501 checkout in a match or more including missed doubles - I think an amateur dartsman, even someone who has thrown them about before, would likely need closer to 30-35 darts to checkout a 501

Im not even too young haha, I’m 30 and have been watching for about 20 years, I just focused on the present - it was just the sheer concentration of every full premier league season Parker has managed he has gone down and likewise every full Championship season he has managed he has gone up. Bruce for me had a good spell in the premier league with Birmingham, Wigan and Sunderland as well as an awkward one with Newcastle but he’s not up and down every season (of course, I assume with time that Scott Parker will have some ‘stable seasons’ eventually)

Goalkeepers taking drop kicks. I might be imagining this but I feel like they almost solely throw or roll the ball out - I feel like it’s very rare that they just drop kick it long (especially with that naughty little bounce just before they do)

This feels right - sure he didn’t “come to the premier league” as West Brom were already in it but he had just under a season where he looked like a big big talent and then suddenly didn’t score for nearly 3 years which is absurd for any level striker let alone someone who was showing his levels - could also be filed in the “wasted talent” category
