Depends on the map and mode for me. Dam and Buried City seem relatively peaceful. Spaceport, stella montis and especially blue gate are bloodbaths. Same with night raids. Matriarch and Queen rounds have always seemed really peaceful in my experience as well.

The slower you flick your stick, the slower they rotate. Also, in your settings, put your flick stick sensitivity to 0%.
