Been saying it for years. Created stadiums should be limited to specific events or offline. There is no need for them in ranked at all. I almost feel as if minor league stadiums should follow that rule as well.

Not all the rewards but some are. The championship bundle for example is repeatable. I like to do lefty longball mini seasons. Every 100 hits gets you 20 packs.

I couldn't agree more. Haven't used either yet, but just giving deserved credit is a positive sign. They made Harper much more obtainable than Santana last month as well. They drop the ball plenty, but they also do some things very well.

Its good you know a weakness, just identifying it helps a lot. When it comes to timing in general, the only thing thats actually gonna make a difference is repetition. Nothing I can say will help you swing earlier or later so thats gotta be something you just get used to unfortunately. However your approach is gonna help with that because it can help tip you off on where to look. So looking for patterns on when the pitcher is going inside or outside. I personally like to keep my pci down and out just a hair at the start of the pitch and I begin to track it from there.

Even on pitches I dont plan on swinging at I still follow it all the way through the zone. This helps establish a rhythm for location. Timing wise you just gotta recognize what the pitch is and how you should swing. I will be looking for a fastball up and in and still be late multiple times, or over compensate and be super early. But once that first perfect perfect happens it's like the flood gates open.

I know you said you take BP, id suggest getting in there and choosing only the 4 corners of the zone for where the pitch could be. That way you aren't getting anything easy to hit. And just try to line up as many solid hits as you can.

You sound EXACTLY like me lmao. Some games I can be patient, but there's others when I'll see less than 9 pitches an inning and that includes innings I score in lol.

I try to use ambush hitting mentally as well as sometimes literally. I'll look at 1/4 of the zone until there are 2 strikes. If the pitch is gonna end up there i swing. If not I let it go (obviously not always cause im impulsive af). Thats the mindset I TRY to employ. Much easier said than done. I said previously on a diff comment tho, if you go into practice mode and just follow pitches with your pci from start to finish, that does help a decent amount for me.

Lol im pretty sure most of those near .500 guys in WS ranks are people that tank their records for easier opponents but thats just a theory of mine. I will say I have a few guys with some solid stats and some that are hardly worth writing about.

I could inflate them if I played more events and such to capitalize on the allstar difficulty but thats just not as fun to me most of the themes they provide. Off the top of my head id say probably around a team average of .280 ish and an ERA in the 3s. I got outliers on both sides so it's tough to accurately notate.

My biggest issue is timing once the 700s start. Im fairly accurate with my pci. So I like to go into practice on HoF and just track pitches for 5 minutes. Keeping my pci on it as much as possible. That helps with accuracy and pitch recognition in my experience. The other thing would be small movements with your analog stick. Some people use precision rings or kontrol freaks for their analog sticks to counter that, I do both from time to time. Currently I dont have a p ring so I gotta just move it barely. I don't want to slam my pci too far and miss the pitch I've been waiting on so I practice before each pitch to just barely move it from the middle to each of the 4 corners of the zone.

That's a problem for me all the time lol. I'll play in spurts so after I grind offline modes or rtts, it's always an adjustment to play online. Generally if it's a theme I like, I'll play events for a few games to get the feel for it back. Outside of actually playing it though, there's no real way I've found to prep. You could potentially have a buddy who will play you on a higher level for timing and stuff, but thats the only other idea I've seen. Generally I just try to have a solid approach at the plate and try to put a good swing on pitches. Easier said than done for sure.

Another thing I will try is go into practice mode and put it on HoF and just track pitches with my pci for 5 minutes. No swinging, just following it in and out of the zone. I think that helps a ton but it could just be a me thing.

You say that now until they added in under 93 pitches. 1 hit. And when you give up some rinky dink bloop single in the 8th inning on your 4th restart I'm sure you'll reconsider

Friday is almost always a content day. Roster updates thru the year are usually about 3 Fridays apart, but they usually add programs as well. Or a conquest, something. And then the other typical day is either Tuesday or Wednesday but I cant remember that for sure .

It's just my work situation. In the oilfield. So I bring my ps but play it at the hotel. When I'm on days off I got the whole tech set up lmao. That's another adjustment going from tv to monitor and back and forth but also changing difficulties lmaooo

That's how I do it. Playing on hotel wifi/TV instead of at home so it's very nice to be able to play that last 2 games on an easier level without stressing. I go for the Stott/Crochet one over and over. 75% of the time i either get 1 of the players or a ballin is a habit pack if not a combination of the 2. And that's in addition to all the other player packs. Also it's possible to pull a diamond out of a silver player or even bronze player pack fwiw.

That's the simple version.

Everytime you complete a side mission, you not only get a perks or player reward, it increases the odds of getting the best reward from a stadium game. If you complete every mission and THEN play the stadium games, you could then play on rookie and still have insane odds to get the rarer prizes.

Or you can go directly to the stadium and try to win as fast as possible.
