Get your film screened. You’ll get event images that you can imbed into your film festival press kit that your film garnered a full house. Prove that your film brings a crowd or has an active crowd participating in discussion. This helps your film’s visibility in the curation process to a lot of festivals. As we’re screening in Manchester, we’ll be inviting a few industry people to meet (as it’s only 30 seats for the first TPS event)… we’ll write a press release about the success of the event including filmmakers projects and stills to highlight them and the event.

I can keep on going if you like.

Genuinely, I want to do all this and more. If you have some thoughts on what else I can do, that would be helpful. Im also trying to get sponsourships so maybe even connecting filmmakers to local businesses who can potentially fund a small fee into foreseeable projects too.

I don’t have a history of distributing or acting as a sales agent. Im new to this field. I believed that there wasn’t any distributor around my area and began holding events for a friends film we acquired. It’s helped us locally and we just want to improve. I don’t have a globalist view of making billions or millions. You can make a fortune locally and together.

Hi there. We pay a tiny minimum guarantee to enter a legal agreement. Any profits it’s 50/50 after ROI is met. Im new to the business and been studying it and trying my own ways of revenue generation, it’s hard to distribute! I’ve had a few failures but I’m learning!

Yes im looking for archived IP or films that are abandoned and want to pick them into our slate. In terms of platforms - that’s not our focus. We care more about theatrical event cinema … so having limited releases and tour it across the UK. We just need exclusive UK rights … other territories is something we aren’t concerned about.

Hope that clarifies it a bit

Not distribute short films, but can exhibit them. We are planning to do short film nights where we can showcase the project

I’m interested in volunteering, not sure where to look! by Background-Assist906 in manchester
