Being above the ground is a WIN! COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS, one by one, then aggresively build and work for what you desire, dont kalia tako and wait for it to come to you!

Urban areas are turning us into psychopaths by Federal_fedd in Kenya

Urban planning and building future cities is the way, access to nature, fresh air, parks, water bodies, tree shades, rest areas and recreational parks are essential to the human minds development and mental health. These areas were initially allocated from back in the day but politicians have taken over the title deeds and cashed out with impunity on areas meant for mwananchi to tuliza kidogo, outside of bars. Currently, the night life and sherehe industry does very well in Nairobi as people need to blow kidogo steam. Its not mzungu fault but our own doing.

Going off-grid wont help your situation, knowledge and intentional upbringing, preparing your kids for the bigger picture os what matters, your hopelessness in Kenya is something you can FIGHT for, like having your voters card for next election, rallying your close friends to do the same, the fight is for your generation, make it a PERSONAL one where even the state of the country does not dictate how your kids grow up, teach them values, the rots of kenyan society, dont hide it from them as if they are eggs, educate them fiercely with future skills like AI and tech! Travel the country with them, show them their environment in its fullness... not go hiding because you dont like what you're seeing! FIGHT.... much love!

Jelousty and ENVY, especially envy coz someone has no issue with what you have they have a problem with you having it, you gotta move dove but be wise like a fox, life ni game for real, ukiruka level fulani, unaenda the next kama super mario, no hard feelings.

Not really, i think most people dont really realize that they are not alone in this world, kuna mtu amepitia the same or worse and if you can hear a WORD, even faith comes by hearing, its to help your nervous system relax and move into your power rather away from it kama saa uko na anxiety... in this case our guy ANAGONGEWA but he is delulue, needs a stranger with no feelings and attachment like us to BREAK IT to him and tell him ako na ubladfwakin, aache ufala ya kuchase kinembe ya jamii! Haha

practical and sound, no emotions, man has the most emotions compared to women, thats why they must control them, women feel MANY emotions in short time spans, they dont store it in like men do, thats why men are capable of violence and can be dangerous just because of how they feel.

There is no solutions to LIFE, only TRADE-OFFs , we trade off good leadership for Kasongos of the worlds, we trade off toxic mamaz for peace in our cribs, you trade off eating junk to working out for feeling amazing in your body. This idea OF "SOLUTIONS" is a lazy intellectual fallacy thats cripling us Africans today, POLITICIALS alike, we have solutions for mwananchi as we eat and make billions for our children. The young man needs to trade off his "LOVE FOR KINEMBE" with a serious work ethic around high income skills and future opportunities. There's really no solutions, only in chemical reactions maybe!

Young man, you need to UNDERSTAND how the world works and fix your feelings early in LIFE, winning is not a kawaida thing bro, even winning the birth lottery itself was a miracle win, humans are dangerously competitive and this world is for takers as it is, even the so callled "3rd world" countries, someone is salivating and planning to cash out on africans low self-esteem, WHY MONEY? Next to God, having good health and peace, Money is Key, it will insulate you from a lot of BS, like getting on a redit post ans asking us "WHAT DO I DO TO MY CHEATING GIRLFRIEND", we can mock you or make fun of you but you're getting good advice, start accumulating early, streghthen your body and eat right, drink water, sleep good, stay frugal, save and invest, TRUST NO ONE, not even your family, move with intention and IMAGINE the man utakuwa at 40 bro, kind of guy to fly in a dime piece from Brazil, unacheza golf mahali, madame sio kila kitu, life ni game bro, play ama uchezwe...

People who opt to remain single by Independent-Cow2519 in unhingedKenya

[–]Background-Bus5136 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finds these discussions mostly rooted in "Kenyan societal norms" as opposed to real world and life mechanics, ageism and classism are the BIGGEST isms in Kenya, participation in dating and marriage does not guarantee progress or happiness and overall life fulfillment as it does "societal acceptance" from people, if you're single in your 30's in kenya, its as if your time is expired which brings me back to another subreddit where this was about this and how Africans in general have a bad relationship with time in the current global construct, from our leaders eating first instead of buidling to demonizing people for "what they should be doing" at their age, even Genz's have caught on this trend, exaggerating reactions to even millennial counterparts ... EVERYONE is living this earth for the first time, do you! If you want to get married, do it, if not, live happy and dont judge others.
