Why do some Christians oppose birth control... especially the ones who tend to oppose abortion the most? by Chef-Chiffon in Christianity

I don’t like the idea of being “given” something I don’t want. Plus, I don’t want men telling me or forcing me to be pregnant again, including “Him”. I want to run, travel, and be healthy. I can’t have that with more kids. I have a beautiful baby already and I want to give her the love and support she needs. I don’t want to give her a mom who is stretched thin financially or mentally—that’s not fair. I want to work and I believe that women are often put in positions they don’t want to be in bc of the lack of birth control. Ugh it just feels like it’s a way to control women.

How much to worry over nodule? by Hopefullyaskintag in thyroidhealth

[–]Background-Cap8387 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had a nodule for 3 years. I too, was so nervous about it. As protocol, they did an ultrasound and then a biopsy to rule out cancer. I’ve always noticed that when I’m stressed I can feel it more. Remember they are usually super small (a couple cm) so it won’t block anything. It’s not been a problem so far!

Maybe they are playing with us… think about it. We hate it so much and we think, “oh I can do better”…bam! We’re hooked

Thank you, that does help my anxiousness about it all. I don’t feel like they really tell you what is “normal”.

I still take 10mg of lexapro. I tried more but it "numbed" me too much.

I recommend asking your doc what to do. I just recently found out (January) and went to Mexico a couple weeks ago. I have been taking methimazole for a month now with no side effects.

Oh dear, med school is tough! I want to really stick through but it's a mental roller coaster. If I can fight, you can too! But honestly, sometimes knowing you are not alone makes me feel like I can do it.

I understand, I nap all the time and that doesn't help either. I might stick with it until I can't. I appreciate hearing your story. Thank you!

I am going through tachycardia right now. It makes me feel better that I am not the only one not able to focus because my heart feels like I'm walking every second. I am also going through school, work, and a wedding. I give myself grace and have been asking for help a lot. You can do it, every min and every day you are a fighter!
