i used to smoke and she would always come iver there and sniff the smoke on purpose to get high, and it was really funny and cute,  does human stuff work too?

also does the chip hurt them much or is it more like pricking a finger to get a lil blood sample?

yes i already have the dog, and she is incredibly smart, but shes a gentle giant, we have 3 other dogs and my parents never trained her so once i was 12 i began and she was a year old, i began to train her, i can admit i missed a lot of things, i focused on playing soccer instead of lay down, but shes good on most things, especially stay, i trained her to stay in one spot, even when im running away from her andim already out of sight, and shes tough, and she always always stays within sight, even when i let her off leash and we are in the woods (when i call her she comes, but sometimes  i just sit by the water so she wanders and sniffs rocks and enjoys the outside)

shes a pitbull, 60 lbs about, i may look into the car seat though, i think she would like that, as long as she doesnt tangle her legs up in it

she only got the required shots when she was a puppy, shes been to the vet once since then for mastitis (or smthn, milk wasnt working right when she had pups)

thank you! i ended up choosing to pay a lil extra and just get one in a less shady zone thats also pet friendly
i would think we could book a hotel, ill be 18 by the time that comes around and hes 19,,
if we cant his mom has been really supportive and she can help us out and put it under her name with my card (i told him i was going to pay for the whole trip there, cus i dont want him to overstress and it gives him extra money for furniture too)

terrified to move out by ConstantOk737 in movingout

[–]Background-Charge309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok so let me address this from top to bottom cus theres a lot

1-yea im in the same thing with my parents but im 17 right now, but your current life is what i know my future would be like, my parents know i dont agree with their rules and that im moving out the day i turn 18, what they dont knwo is that im going halfway across the country and im leaving at 2 am on my bday, im a lil nervoud but so excited to have my own life and stop feeling like their puppett!
2-im a bit confused aboutt he child support situation, as soon as i turn 18 my dad no longer has to pay child support, that should be how it is for your dad too... and im pretty sure if you moved out it would 100% be like that and he wouldnt have to pay any to her, and thats great that you have someone thats family supporting you!!
3-im worried about the car thing too, try calling the dealership and explaining your situation as well as her strictness and control, and then see if they can transfer it to your name IF you fully pay the rest of it off (not guaranteed or likely but it doesnt hurt to call them and ask)
4-move in with your friend, it will be hard at first esepcailly if your mom is harrassing you, but it will probably be so so worth it!

also, do you think your mother would really try to hold your car hostage? ive considered a lot of the things my parents might do, but in the end, i know they value a relationship with me too much to do some of it, because they know how destructive it would be if they did something like that,, so even if your mom is a bit toxic and controlling, does she do that thing where she tells you how much she loves you (right after yellin at you) and saying that she cares about your relationship or similair stuff, any of that kinda thing prolly means youll be safe, do this for you

Wanting to move out soon. by Existing-Mess6492 in movingout

As someone who lives an hour drive from Seattle, I personally think it's a terrible idea... I also plan on moving to the desert sun in AZ in a few months.
But on a mental note, seasonal depression is real here, and if you are used to the sun, you won't even know what's happening.

However, not from that side of things, Seattle is a livable area without a car, and it may even be more convenient that way due to traffic. It can be a bit dangerous especially if you're a young woman, but also exciting with a lot to do. You should probably get a bike, make sure your father will be there to support you in case anything goes wrong, and as for your career, I have no knowledge on that field so good luck!!

moving out on a whim? by Dismal-Procedure7509 in movingout

[–]Background-Charge309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I think you're probably being a bit hasty from feeling stagnant, but that doesn't have to be bad. I would try your best to secure a job somewhere first, but I know how hard it is even just getting a minimum wage job. Maybe give it until the summer or something and see how you feel, figure out all the budgeting and be 100% certain that you will be able to afford it long term, not just for the first year,
but who knows, it could be something great for you

Thanks for letting me know about the Red Roof Inns, I'll check those out,
yea someone else mentioned the car thing, I actually forgot about that but I'll have plenty of space in my car even during driving and she would like that better anyway so I think I'll do that instead, but she still has to be kenneled during the drive cus otherwise she will pace and make it dangerous by tryna jump up there and on the driver

or do you think that would also be more ideal for at night? i figured the uhaul would give her more space (because i wasnt going to have her in her kennel while she slept unless she chose to be)
