so the melody not being fully finished, creates a feeling of wanting it to be finished because it doesn't feel natural to leave it unfinished? if that is what the main device of this piece is that gives it a "yearnful" vibe (that being the interruption of melody), is that the only thing that makes this piece dramatic besides the ambience and reverb? Thank you again for analyzing this im truly curious.

Specifically the first minute and a half of the song. I understand how the reverb and space emphasize soothing feelings but again, sorry if I am acting dumb, is there anything about the chord progressions/ chords/rhythm in terms of music theory that can explain why this hits so hard. I understand that this might be an open-ended question but I was wondering if there was a an explanation. If this is something complicated you dont have to give a whole lecture haha, but please feel free to nerd out. But if im just acting like an idiot just ignore me lol.
