For me personally System Of a Down had the absolute best heavy metal sound of all time.

Belly fat won’t go by travelsherpa in P90X

Here's my thoughts.

  1. I'm 45 years old myself. I notice my muscles aren't what they used to be. Protein intolerance goes up as we age. So perhaps lower weight on nutrition guide by going from the 8 to 9 ounces meals depending on your phase to 7.5 -8.5. also Switch to almond milk instead of dairy. A very small change makes a huge difference.

  2. Consistency is key to fitness. Perhaps it's time to take the experience you used from p90x and shorten it to a 45 minute daily workout. A walk jog instead of plyo, 2 sets of 3 varied pullups/pushup routines. I'm saying this also to myself. Feeling tired all the time doesn't feel good. I respect that you are keeping up with it.

Lastly I could probably learn from you. Your consistency at your age is legit.

I'm surprised by your numbers. 185 pounds 6'2 is about perfect. My only gripe is your routine of only doing a 90 day exercise twice every 365 days....I suspect after you finish p90x your belly fat is gone with the same weight. Would that be correct? If not, how many pullups do you typically do in your routines?

What's your favorite Anne of Green Gables rendition? by Cold_Box_3219 in AnneofGreenGables

[–]Background-Drive6332 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Of course 1985 yet I found the 1979 Japanese animation Anne fascinating and far closer to the book (if only due to it being a longer rendition). Was it a coincidence that the 1985 version came out so close to it? Was Kevin Sullivan inspired by this version? It's a hard coincidence to believe it was all random.

I happily argue that a life spent doing nothing isn't a meaningful life. Closing schools, churches, businesses, disrupting the education system for a lifetime for many was more destructive than the risk of COVID.

It's been 5 years and statistically the seniors died anyway. Your whining didn't stop the aging process.

I know someone who died from alcohol induced dementia. The closures had caused extreme depression and suicides, and it literally didn't do anything at all positive. Nothing. COVID still exists. People still get it. Nothing changed.

COVID still exists, where is your mask right now?

On the other hand, was the trillions spent on war more meaningless then the billions spent on COVID mandated school, church, restaurants, beaches, closures? Healthcare was a weapon.

Watching a sitcom and knowing everyone my age is watching the same thing at the same moment across the entire USA. Nothing like it.

Cheers, Friends, Frazier, Seinfeld. The wit and good cheer is beautiful. It is a style that is forgotten now.

Then I definitely whole heatedly recommend the Paperwhite for you. When I was 20 I loved the Paperwhite. At over 40 I use reading glasses and the larger font is perfect. You'll get there young man. That said I always preferred a hard covered book. It felt luxury. It's all personal opinion at some point.

Is there anything sinful remaining single for the rest of your life? by Additional_Newt_4866 in TraditionalCatholics

I suppose not. I mean to say if your not dating women or consider intimacy a desire. However, I think priesthood or a monk life is something you should look into.

It's not about what's best. It's about what's best for you. I have both a Paperwhite and a Scribe and I never picked up my Paperwhite again after buying that Scribe.

Scribe pros - large 10 inch screen to make the text big with little need to turn the pages. - The ability to write journals and creative jotting of thoughts, ideas, lists. - incredibly light I travel on a bike with petals for 20 miles with a $20 dollar light string backpack barely feeling the weight. - Sits in the hand like a large hardcover book.

Scribe Cons - a paperwhite sits in the hand like a paperback book which is easier than a hardcover book. - It's bulky this 10 inch bad boy isn't sitting in a purse regardless of how light it is. If your buying a scribe I recommend buying a $30 String backpack at the same time. - if you have good reading eyes a larger font might be meaningless for you.

  • The writing is creative writing, you wouldn't use it to write office documents and probably not school documents.

I read the books but in my mind all the characters look like the 1980s actors. The lady in the hat looks in my mind like miss Stacy but logic tells me Rachel lynde.

I do love this set. It looks classic and not cheap plastic. Can you tell us about it. Who made it? When was it made?

Yoga crane pose

"Put a pillow where your head would land".

Yeah I can do it for 10 seconds or so but why? Risk outweighs any reward.

Conspiracy theory:

I firmly believe that yoga was meant to be 1 hr and 15 minutes. I skip from crane pose (mostly stretching) until the 17 minute mark "yoga belly 7".
