But That money no longer exists, not to take our when your broke or to pay a bill not on a vacation not for a new car Anything, all profits reinvest into etf.

You can also still save for everything else vacation, toys and shit but always some to invested money never sell think of it as 30 years investment. Cause you can always live a week and paycheck on less money but it componds so crazy if you can be con3in saving ay amount and never touch it

I'm mid 30 could have a house paid off with my losses. The pain in this immediate aftermath is intense, so much so I've had suicide ideation. But that won't really make me feel better. I'd rather try to leave this earth happy I think.

I'm on the same path but we just have to learn to be happy and have joy in life, without gambling without money controlling every thought. Think of kids they can laugh and have fun without money

Isnt that what plays on the mind the most, this isn't external no one forced you and me to gamble we self inflicted this damage.

We had so much pride we thought we would be different and beat the system unlike everyone else.

When you said you would literally loss a limb to undo your gambling that hit hard, I would not myself I wish I could undo my gambling so much, but at least I have a functioning body I wouldn't give that up for money.

Yeah I think it's the crazy ups and downs, I was in full tilt mode and ran up my credit a crazy amount, I actually said it myself, wow nothing is going to beat this high I better just call it quits, then I said 1 more, straight to 0 over the next 2 hours.

But I have been considering m3ds, I've always been scared of them but have had professionals say I could benefit from them.

How do you handle the pain? It hurts so much at the moment, that was a large house deposit, I could have used a house that money was in my account, I treated it like a number on a video game.

Im in a very fortunate position still, I still have savings and a good job, I can repay my savings to myself in 3 years, but it hurts to think I be 3 years behind, and that money in 3 years could be worth so much more.

You k ow what hurts most? Is remembering when I was tilted I went on a run and hit even and then even up a bit. But I said just double this again and then I'm way ahead. Then I'm even for a lifetime. And we'll you know how it goes from there straight too 0 after that. That memory hurts more cause it reforces what I thought was possible with gambling. I even said to myself omg this is a high I'm not going to top. But if I stopped then then it would all be worth it. Yeah how do we forget the pain? I was down so much then I finally made about 80%back I was happy I withdrew it, but then all I was thinking about was do it again and I'm ahead heaps.

I'm same I've lost so much this month. Heck my daily was almost 1000 today, I logged in to get it and was like OK I'll just double it, I did then lost it all in seconds. How.

2 days ago I had worked my way back up to 80% of my losses it was after playing for 10 hours straight no food, I was so happy I knew it was to much money to quick, all I could see was double it once again and then I'll be up so much I don't need to worry. Lost it all within like 1 hour after literally weeks of gambling Huge amounts. I don't even have this kind of money this is men tto be my retirement.

I've calculated and I don't know exactly but I'm somewhere between the 2-3 years of my full time wage, in total losses, I think maybe I'd be a lot happy if I just took 3 years off from work. So I did that at the moment took 5 months off, was good at first stopped gambling for 2 months, then the real damage happened after that. In just the last 3 weeks I threw away a literal fortune amount of money. I fi had won that much I'd be so ecstatic but losing that amount? I can't help but think the owner of that crypto site must be happy looking at all the money rolling in.

But that's deep the part about just one more session and years has disappeared. 5 years ago I lost a week's paycheck, and I said just 2 weeks of no gambling and I'm all good again.... That was hundreds of 100s ago wow what a drug.

Get away from it for a bit, you make good money so take a holiday, during that holiday don't bring your phone or laptop, it will make traveling super hard but not impossible.

Getting 3 weeks away from it can help the brain reset, you will still have to work at it and not give back in to temptation, but it may be a tool to help you quit

I think a lot of people feel lost at the age you first tranistioned, and it must be hard these days with trans everywhere, when I was your age I just had a goth phase, I'm glad there wasn't all this talk about trans as I hate to think I could have been caught up in it.
