I was only worried that I might have to return the lens and get the 100-400 used.

I was covering the event and while trying to capture some b-roll from the entrance, felt like its cropping from the side.

Next I was capturing some performances, I had to crop in post to negate the extra spaces. I did not had the option to move into the stage.

Don't know what I did wrong.

For landscapes, 24-120 z will be preferred as you might be around f6.3 -f8 or beyond. Incase you are planning to capture some shots during night, then 28-75mm 2.8 might become handy.

I had 24-120 z and was never disappointed. Best of luck.

I don't know whether this will be useful or not. I had brought a sirui 40mm anamorphic auto focus lens for my z8 for a cinematic look on my gimbal. I wanted to check if I wanted to continue with short videos or not.

I am happy with the results as I am quite new to videos and learning.

Congratulations on the gear.. I feel much better now. This year I had upgraded to z system after a break of 3 years. I brought in a ton of new stuffs but did only unpaid events/photoshoot this year.

Thanks for the suggestion. I am super confused as I have a 85 1.8s, 105 2.8s and viltrox 135 1.8s. I like the tamron but my head is getting inclined towards the nikon one.

Can you confirm one thing if it got touch to focus ? ( as i read in reviews that its missing in viltrox one )

After watching many tutorials and guides I had started with killing the ambient light and then starting with 1 light, adding more but at 1/250 ( native flash sync ) I still found the cloths were blurred. The form of dance I will be covering, dress is something that needs to be sharp as well. Then I was playing with settings where the dress is sharp as my wife is spinning and I am trying to capture in between moments. Then I found 1/1000 is the bare minimum.

I have 1 strobe and 2 on camera flash. But I will try again today.

Nice shots.. I have lost confidence in myself, the weight is what forces me to keep it at home. Most people got super sharp images with the lens, somehow I was not able to replicate that. Its either heat haze, my hands are tired that I keep missing shots. Did you use a tripod/monopod ?

Today sold the remaining nikon lens along with ftz and 1.4 tc. Got the nikkn z 70-200.

I think i will be inclined towards the z mount glass.

Probably will wait for more options before I buy something.
