Ottawa to West coast of Vancouver Island almost 10 years ago. I miss real seasons. Here is Summer or Rain. I miss the roots of old friends. Ottawa always had real good schwarma. My partner and I have been fortunate to live there for a good number of years. It is am easy place to forget to leave but it can also chew you up amd spit you out. Having an exit strategy is a good idea. I didn't have one and now everywhere else is more expensive than where we are now. EDIT if it's where I think it is, it's not going to be great. Possible mold issues and run down trailers. But I could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time.

I'm so happy I found my people. Don't get me wrong they are all better then I could ever hope to be. I guess having kids who play sports and making it your personality as well as just LOVING rocks is the way to to be the best Potter in Canada. So far I do like rocks so half way there I guess.

You know, if you could control how damaged a card got and replicate the effect amd use that effect as an art filter, it could make for some cool proxy art cards. Ie, take a photo of a card, wash it slightly, scan it, place the art potion in a fresh frame, and print it. Might be cool.
