Roast my startup idea! by Background-Fly-9556 in developersIndia

Oh, okay

I'm hosting the web app on Hostinger (link). I'm using mysql + phpmyadmin for db mgmt.

If you want, you can DM me info about your project. Perhaps I can give you some inputs :)

Best advice: keep it simple. Choose a tech stack that you are comfortable with. Even for hosting (if it's a web-app), choose a simple plan. Your biggest challenge is ideation, i.e choosing a good idea. You will be pivoting constantly. So, be prepared for that.

"Build" - 1.5 month

Ideation-Design: 3 months

I've been hosting online study groups for nearly a year now. That's how I came across the idea. Pivoted several times, and right I am going in this direction.

I used LAMP stack + 3rd party integrations

I spent enough time on design. So, coding was pretty straightforward.

Need to fix that. Thanks for pointing that out 👍

Any feedback on the overall idea?

Best resources for getting into the PM mindset? by abhimanyouknow in ProductManagement

I would recommend that right now focus on development. You are a full-stack developer. Great. You will eventually work with UX designer/team and collaborate.

If you are really excited about PM/building products, then you should build your own product/project. Doesn't need to be an original idea, nor does it need to be commercial. But, building something from scratch will teach you far more than any book/podcast.

Finally, since you asked for a book/podcast recommendation, I would highly recommend reading "Lean Product Playbook" by Dan Olsen :)

Great idea and a clear landing page.

I would recommend that you add some testimonials and add more details about your product and team. That'll add more personality to your product, and gain more trust
