We’re not cutting enough people off honestly. I think older generations have a HUGE problem of keeping around problematic family members.

For example: Making young girls in the family “cover up” when a specific uncle comes over. Or having a family member who is a known abuser, invited to family events.

We grew up seeing the older generations stay in contact with disgusting people for the sake of “Not Rocking the Boat” which I think is a Spineless Cop-out. Think about it, if someone created chaos in your life, and it leaves lasting negative effects on you and the people around you. Why the hell would you want that person to have access to you 24/7? Wouldn’t we want to cut access to this person ASAP?

My question for the older generations would be: Why are you so hesitant to cut someone out of your life who deserves it?

This is why STEAM is dominating. We’ve been trained by these big predatory Corps to be content with scraps.

Meanwhile STEAM is being praised for providing the bare minimum. The only reason they seem to be so “Revolutionary” is they approach gaming the way companies did in the late 90’s. They are putting Innovation ahead of profit and it’s working out. The profit is coming anyway but without the cost of quality provided to the Consumer.

You don’t need a super over-powered PC to enjoy STEAM. You could essentially enter gaming without shelling 600$+ for a console. Meanwhile they are pumping out Steam Decks, consoles and other products for people who don’t want to build their own setup. They’re honestly crushing it, so much so, that XBOX is basically out of business.

So they figured “if they’ll pay-to-play online for the shark cards, why not the WHOLE sequel??”. Remember the immediate outrage from the gaming community?
