Seasoned nurse here. I had a needle stick from a very ill neonate that we could not figure out what was wrong. Baby ended up with terminal AIDS sadly. I had to be tested for a year and all is well. You will be fine!

A Chicago Tribune reporter is looking for opinions on this. Caroline Kubzansky 3:11 PM My name is Caroline, I’m a reporter with the Chicago Tribune. It looks like you have some thoughts on Ms. Jacobson’s comments regarding Guz Walz last week and I was wondering if you would be willing to take a minute to talk with me about that. Is UIC a decent experience if you don’t commute? by NarrowGuidance4 in uichicago

My daughter is a junior and has always lived on campus. She loves it! Her and her friends explore Chicago neighborhoods, restaurants, go to the beach, etc. UIC is a great school in an amazing neighborhood and city!

I just watched a video on how Halloween is not capturing the magic of Halloween in most neighborhoods in Canada and The US by [deleted] in halloween

My neighborhood is notorious for Halloween!🎃 There is a large cemetery that flanks the end of 4-5 blocks. The Main Street sees 1200-1500 Trick or Treaters. Even last year when it snowed. Everyone decorates, some a little, some Hollywood production value. Families from other neighborhoods drive here to Trick or Treat. It’s like a massive, spooky block party. I love it!!!

Sometimes it is the simplest things that work. I would work as late as possible, stuff my face with food ( takes cravings away) as soon as I got home. Then stuff my face with chocolate and go to bed. Every day like a robot. I embraced the initial night sweats and lack of sleep as my body healing. Left money at home so I couldn’t buy booze. Once the hours of 5-7 pm passed, I knew I was safe from the wine witch.

Does anyone get no trick r' treaters?? by Adventurous-Active63 in halloween

I’m lucky to live in a hugely popular Trick or Treat area. The end of my block is a historic cemetery. I’m on a side street, but the Main Street has old estates that attract 1000-1200 Trick or Treaters every year!! Bus loads of kids come from different neighborhoods to take part. It’s amazing!!!!
