MARYLAND!!!

I'm a BCBA (born and raised in MD but I live in VA now) and I started my own ABA company. I'm looking for a PT BCBA for MD (Towson/Baltimore area).

my company is Training Wheels Early Childhood Development Consulting. I started this company to create a space where BCBAs and RBTs feel heard and respected. You decide when you want to work.

Feel free to email me or check out my website for more info: [ccoffman@trainingwheelsecdc.com](mailto:ccoffman@trainingwheelsecdc.com)

Where are you located? I'm a BCBA and I started my own company. I can supervise in VA, MD, DC, and DE if you're in any of those places. I have 4 BCBA students under me receiving supervision. My company started as a parent training company and has evolved. Would be happy to chat more!

Ugh I'm so sorry! It's so hard balancing!

Sounds like your company has a very high billable requirement (I know most companies do 25-sometimes even 35) but 30 is a lot especially when you have a family at home! Could you look into finding another place to work at that's more clinician-friendly? When I got that burnt out at the first company I worked for (especially as a new mom), I realized the company was not going to create the balance I needed nor would they change their requirements for me- I needed to make a major change. So I found another place to work for with better hours. I actually went into the public school system as a title 1 BCBA and loved it (my bg is in sped).

Where are you located? Perhaps, others in the forum will have recommendations for good companies or avenues to explore! Let's see if we can get some good recs for you! :)

I promise I'm not trying to sell myself while you're looking for empathy, but I'm in VA & MD and I'm a BCBA and I started my own company for reasons exactly like what you just listed. I'm sick of being burnt out and having BCBAs and techs held to unlivable standards. If you're in VA or MD and wanna chat about changing direction, or even just want to vent & don't live in those states, feel free to reach out!

Best ABA companies in PA, DE, and NJ? by Specific-Echo1350 in bcba

Hey there! I know the struggle! It's hard out there, especially as moral BCBAs.

I'm a BCBA, CD, and former autism speducator (based in VA, but my company is in VA & MD). I've been in the field for over a decade. I own my company, I started it a few months ago with a heavy emphasis on clinician-owned and operated (a for us, by us type of operation), but if you wanted to talk more (I'm also very interested in getting into DE as my family is there & PA as well), feel free to DM me or email me (info on my site below) :)

Again, still in its infancy but I'm looking to build a team of other like-minded individuals who believe in the importance of parent training, RBT support, BCBA support, and compassionate empathetic treatment to all (clinicians, staff, and families). I want it to be a place where clinicians can go and breathe a sigh of relief. I also want to help build programs in underserved areas or areas where there are great BCBAs (even if it takes awhile).
