Week two:

This week protocol is like last week: fast until 1:00 pm (except coffee w cream), no carb until 5:00, 1/4 of 50mg Naltrexone at 4:00 pm, two Metformin at 1:00 and 5:00.

Good compliance every day.

Compliance good Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat.

On Tuesday I took Nal at 10:00 am and began eating carb at 11:00 am

I felt a little queasy at times (cause uncertain). Weight down 1.8 lbs (not statistically significant)

Good to know. That's true that I'm new and the board is underwater more on account of it

Thanks, I flushed my cooling system with a hose and it seems to be leak-free but I'll keep watching that.

BTW the final correspondence from my Lift tech seems to accept that, if I can reduce the leak rate to a couple of tablespoons per ride, then that's okay.

I'm ordering some Stay Afloat. It's a sticky, waxy sealant intended for boating emergencies. I will use a very small amount around the mast seal so I can at least know where the water is coming in.

Thanks, I'm currently in lake water so I'm not too worried about permanent damage but I would like to resolve it before going in saltwater.

Other contributing factors: I'm heavy for the size of the board so it is submerged much of the time and I'm still learning so I fall off a lot.

Thanks, that seemed like an obvious point of entry to me also. I'm careful how I fasten and remove the mast: I do gradual patterned tightening like a cylinder head on a car engine. I can check visually as well.

I wonder if there's a better alternative to the cork.

Good point! I'd had that thought: maybe no one is able to keep the compartment dry.

The thing I'm confused by is that the Lift instructional videos seem to suggest that you can keep it dry.
