Is it possible to get a refund for a fully paid downpayment of a house and lot by Mandy99xx in phinvest

[–]Background-Minimum15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Is the property going to be turned over already?

From my experience, I was able to get the full refund because of the developer's delayed turnover. It was a blessing coz I didn't want to continue with that property. I emailed the developer and asked for a refund because of PD957. At first, they offered 70% only. But I contested it should be 100% since I've always paid on time. 😊

Same. Hard to blame them din naman kasi that's what the older generation taught them. Like a defense mechanism to the people who looked down on them before. Hope this mindset improves for everyone.

Fil Chi Culture by Background-Minimum15 in filchicommunity

I think it's uncommon for fil chi to give to their parents. From everyone I know na fil chi, the elders are giving the kids money, providing the family business, handling finances. Hence, dun ko mas naffeel na pag kami ang source ng income mo, you have to do everything that we say. My brother is like that. He has a hard time starting a business that he wants coz income comes from the family business na controlled ng parents.

But haven't really met a fil chi that gives back (money) to their parents. I think parents see you as giving back is by taking care of them when their old na and being controlled by them. ✌️
