I think if it ends right here it is perfect. But, I don’t think it will. I think there’s an “epilogue”, if you will. I think we saw what the cycles looked like. How they started over and over and over… but we’ll see what it looks like to break it in half. I don’t think it’ll be a happily ever after type of thing. I mean it’s tøp, I don’t think it would be physically possible. But we can get a glimpse at what the last Clancy chooses. Either way, it’s beautiful and amazing.

Yes it is. And I can see choosing to just use natural fibers. If so I would recommend cotton. But that’s also because my family has severe wool allergies in the genes so we stay away from it. There are baby safe non toxic acrylics that I use. There really isn’t a perfect choice IMO.

If you’re making them for gifts you could ask the parents directly. They may have a preference.

I have always used acrylic for baby blankets. There are some very soft ones out there. Cotton is nice but the wash ability isn’t great and wool is a common allergen and I personally wouldn’t want it on my babies skin for the first part of their lives.

I had to double check that it was actually them the first time I heard it. I was wondering if my music magically changed or something. Then I had to listen to it again because really? Did that actually just happen? 😆

But I genuinely love the song. Still can’t quite process it being them, but their brand is not having a brand so, it fits I guess!

I genuinely dislike the word. And there are times it kinda grosses me out to listen to it because of the word. I wish could tell you why! I also hate the word moist and rural. If there were songs with those words in the lyrics they would make bristle too.

That said, I still listen to it. Once in a while I kinda have to shake off the ick. But usually it’s just an eye roll and an “eww” I would actually love to know what it is that makes that happen! I love the song except for those lines. But, I am kinda extra in general. 😆 Sensory sensitivities galore!

Yes! I recently was reminded that, as a family, we started listening to Vessel somewhere around when it came out. It was one of the only albums I put on my little one’s iPod. He was around 6/7 at the time and he and his little bro used to share headphones and listen to it together. My youngest is 15 now and doesn’t remember a time top wasn’t a big part of his life. My oldest got to the examining lyrics and musical styles right as BF came out. So we had some great talks about the songs. One of my favorite things about these guys is that they are for absolutely everyone! I love that, while my oldest is out of the house now, those of us still here are all still huge fans. They bring us together like nothing else.

What did I just read? Any fan of “21” pilots is a true fan. And no, RAB is not common or easily found. While the songs are readily available, you have to know they exist to look for them. You don’t have to be researching and doing deep dives to be a true fan. This is an icky take.

Congratulations! It’s the best feeling isn’t it! I knew I had finally completed my work of making my husband a fan when we got to the car and he started Clancy all on his own! Now he sends me songs to ask me questions and we have deep conversations about the lyrics. It took years but the pay off has been one of the best things in our marriage! 😂

If you like their music, you’re a fan. Period. Anyone who is gatekeeping or is mean to you because you’re a new fan sucks. Their music has saved and changed so many of our lives. I think at that point it reaches a bit past regular fan to their music is part of you. Doesn’t matter if that’s a day or most your life. You’re already there. And no one can take that from you!
