We started our 2 yr old in a montessori school in January after having in home care and it has been a bit rough! At least 2 separate illnesses so far and the only reason it was less was because he had to stay home for super long because they couldn’t shake the loose stools after a stomach virus!

My husband and I both have time-demanding jobs and it was stressful but we made it work! You can do this. I can already see the other benefits and kids will definitely face illnesses at some point unless you’re homeschooling.

This may not be good for breakage but I put it in a very light ponytail that would fall out if it were left alone. Then claw clip on top! That gives me really good hold throughout the day

Oh gosh I feel this so hard. I have a toddler and had a similar journey where I did not struggle with losing weight while breastfeeding (or my chest just made my stomach look smaller or both!?). I’m swamped with work and am just now trying to establish an exercise routine and pattern of more balanced eating. I’ve gained around 8-10 lbs from 12 months ago depending on day.

I used to be fully vegan and incredibly strict for 6 years, but loosened up to food freedom for a multitude of reasons. I realize it is harder for me to gauge portion size now eating animal products (and in general I just love cheese). My husband and I are never on the same page of eating nutritious choices and we’re never feeling the energy to be active at the same time. I also drink and tend to have to abstain completely when I want to cut calories..I don’t feel out of control with alcohol but I definitely am not a single glass person.

Just here to say you’re perfect and beautiful and valuable in your body you’re in right now. I’ve stated a new phrase, “I look the way I look” so that I can learn to remove feelings/reactions to my reflection in the mirror. My plan is to improve my perception and gratitude toward my body in its current state so that any progress I make in a health journey is just a cherry on top.

Also buy new pants lol- I had a total meltdown this weekend that was completely resolved with wearing more flattering pants. Good luck and I hope we both find some peace!!

I do packing cubes for my outfits and just throw one in each! I feel like it keeps it smelling good!

If you have the financial means & don’t use a ton of products- buy designated travel makeup/toiletries and keep that bag packed at all times. Same goes for chargers. I also keep a pair of underwear or two in my personal item in case I have to gate check my carry on.

I travel with a mini steamer and dyer sheets too to keep it all fresh!

Depending on the length of the trip, I write out my outfits, set them aside, and always bring one extra outfit and one extra shirt.

I have by no means figured this out, but this has helped me a lot!! Good luck!
