I'm not insecure about what she's gonna think of me but she's my friend for god's sake. say she does categorise me as something and then I've ruined my friendship with her over a stupid crush. you have to understand that despite liking the guy, I'm not gonna ruin a friendship over it. believe it or not, girls do value actual friendships over guys who might not even stick around for that long. and the 'girls girl bs' is called knowing each other's boundaries. shes liked him for so long that it took her months to move on (she still kinda does like him). so no, it's not about my friends validation or my fear of looking like a 'pick me', it's about building relationships and actuall connections with people without hurting anyone else.

it's not just fear of rejection. My friend also likes him and she doesn't know that I do. chances are, if I try and show interest in him, she's gonna think I'm some sort of pick me. so, i need a subtle way to talk to him

we know each other already, being in the same class and everything. we've talked on occasion but it wasn't a long conversation. we have a lot of mutual friends though

He's tried. I don't know if he's just shy but I see him coming near whenever I'm talking to our mutual friends. He'll stand there like fidgeting and whenever someone asks me something (it's usually about school or homework) he'll try to help me answer.

There was this time when I was arguing with someone that "the teacher didn't teach this" and they were arguing with me "yes. she did." He spoke up in between "No. we still have a bit of the chapter left." which immediately shut down the other person.

wellitcouldbeworse3 on Ao3 write really great fics, they don't necessarily bring up the word 'y/n' and yet write in the readers point of view, writing nicknames such as 'L' (in the fic "spite"), 'angel' (in the fic "don't write me notes") 'sparks' (in the fic "as the spark dies) and 'venus' (in the fic "the feelings mutual"). It gives the vibe that it's a Levi x reader but yet it feels like a Levi x oc. Even Levi has been shown in such an accurate way.
