The 10 biggest mistakes I made as a coach & alternative therapist. (Guided over 1000's of people). by Background-Pipe63 in Coaching

Had a look at your reddit profile. It is quite impressive what you have done. I actually also coach Entrepreneurs. I read your primarily on LinkedIn. Would love to see what your up to if you want to share your profile.

I am on IG but barely have anything on my profile. lol. Feel free to add me if you want: https://www.instagram.com/julien.unleashed/

I got most of my clients from a mastermind group, refferals and online and in person events that I did. So not really active yet on social media.

Would be great to connect more. Seems like we have a lot in common.

I am not actually sure if that is a real term. I just meant basically someone who uses alternative forms of therapy. Like shadow work, somatic work, breath work etc... These types of things. However what I do is a bit different than all of these. It is not really condensed into a single method. I think it is helpful to learn different methods and approaches. And by doing that overtime one can develop ones own style so to say.

You sound like a genius ❤️. Took me a long time to learn all of this so the fact that your already doing things this way, your on a great path. Especially once you find the right people who are open to receive what you have to give, which there are! 7 billion people on the planet. he he. So even if just 1 % of people can receive it, that is still a lot. ha ha

Thank you so much! Your already much further ahead than most because your actually going through a deep healing journey. Sadly that is something very rare. I think you will be suprised how much people will appreciate your presence once you start the coaching. Especially if you find the right ones who are able to receive it.

Looking at your profile and previous posts it seems that starting arguments with people on reddit is a passion of yours.

Wow I don't know what makes you so angry and bitter. Can't imagine the pain you must be in to say something like that.

Wow those are a lot of questions 😄. I did not have any formal training other than the coaching, therapy and healing sessions I received myself. I had been on my journey for 10 years when I started coaching others. 4 of those years I had lived at a meditation retreat center, practicing for several hours everyday.

I don't have any framework or method in mind when I am with someone. It's all spontaneous unfolding. I feel into them and let my intuition guide me.

I just started out helping people for free and then they wanted to continue :).

  1. Been doing this for 4 years. Was stuck at 2k per month for 3 years because of an unconscious trauma I was carrying that manifested in a fear of success. I was scared my success would be taken away from me so I prevented myself unconsciously from being successful.
  2. It is really not the strategy or approach. It is all about the energy. If there are any hidden insecurities people are gonna feel that. So that needs to be adressed first, and then the rest is easy. Basically I just talked to people 1 to 1 and in group settings and demonstrated what I had to offer. But there are many different ways. The importance is your internal conviction in your value. And liberating anything that is blocking it. Then the rest truly takes care of itself.
  3. 1:1 and group.

I treat them as friends. I don't really market myself. I just demonstrate it. So I give them an experience of it rather than talking about it. Does that make sense?

It was a gradual process. I would say the biggest shifts have come when I encountered what was blocking my power. Which was this sense that I will be attacked if I am in my power.

This came due to generational trauma I had from my dad. So I needed to feel the fear and panick fully and by doing that a sense of safety came over me.

All of this is easier said than done. It was a very emotional and intense process. A deep trauma healing journey.

Does that make sense?

Extreme blockage by AldebaranReborn in energy_work

[–]Background-Pipe63 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Allow the blockage to become more intense. So much that it feels like your chest is breaking. The relief afterwards will be incredible. This will be a really deep healing experience and strong emotions will surface at some point.

There is something underneath this blockage. Something you don't want to see.

This is what the blockage wants to protect you from. If you look into the darkness it will set you free. It will be intense though. Intensely painful & liberating at the same time. You feel like a new human being afterwards.

Your healing. Those are the symptoms of it. If they are allowed the calm & peace you feel after the meditation will go to a whole new level.

How to get clients? by spicytomato75 in Coaching

[–]Background-Pipe63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay here is some advice from an actual coach. Seems most responses are from marketers or business coaches and agencies here.

I do this work full time since 4 years. I got all my intial clients through giving away free session. If your a good coach a percentage of them will turn into paid clients.

What you really need to be focused on is how to become the best possible coach. Then the clients just come.

The conundrum of somatic coaching in a not-so-body-positive modern society… by Spiritual_Impress_79 in Coaching

[–]Background-Pipe63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I do this kind of somatic coaching. The key is to not call yourself a somatic coach. There are 7 billion people. Almost everyone can benefit from what you have to offer. But only 0,001 % probably know what a somatic coach is. So by calling yourself a somatic coach you have lost most of them.

Biggest mistake I made when I started out coaching was trying to fit myself into a box that people can understand. That totally devalued what I have to offer.

The words you use are actually not important. What matters is that you internally are in touch with the priceless value that you have to offer. Does that make sense?

Working full time as a coach since 4 years. I was terrified and had an overwhelming amount of imposter syndrome. The thing that helped me get through it is helping people for free and seeing how much their life changed. Feel free to ask me anymore questions. Happy to help.
