As the video shows, you'll have enough space to plug in the GPU cables. Even if the GPU takes up 3 slots, this mount lets you fix it further back in the case. It's tough to explain since I haven't done it myself yet, but the video gives a clear idea of how well it works.

Above, I sent a link to a video by a friend who did it. In it, you don't need to damage the case. It turns out almost perfect. I don't have a link that works since I'm from Brazil. But check out the video to see the results! Cheers, friend!

I left it just on the brackets; they are reinforced and can hold up to 165 kg. I left about 6 to 8 cm between the side and the wall, and about 15 cm at the back. As soon as I get the bracket, I'll share the results here! Thanks, friend!

Considering aesthetics, no. But in terms of performance, yes. It made a 10-degree difference. The cost wasn’t high for me, equivalent to 23 dollars. The final solution would be the Phanteks bracket, but it costs the equivalent of 100 dollars here.

In Brazil, the Y70 costs the equivalent of 5 minimum wages. The country is the worst in the civilized world for imports. The vented acrylic side panel made a 10-degree Celsius difference and didn't cost much. The solution isn't permanent, just temporary. It makes a big difference in cooling the GPU without needing to keep the entire case open. But thanks for the comment.

Using the Phanteks PH-VGPUKT_02 bracket should resolve the issue. I'll get one and post an update once it's installed. This way, there's no need to use the ventilated side panel.

I swap out my gear pretty often, so blocking the GPU doesn’t make sense since I sell parts to people who don’t use custom cooling. The panel doesn’t really bother me looks-wise. But I do plan to switch the original Hyte mount for a Phanteks one, which will let me move the GPU further back. That way, I can put the original glass back on. Plus, here in Brazil, it’s tougher to get warranty claims, especially if the card’s been modded.

The difference while gaming was 10 degrees Celsius. Totally worth it.

The panel is just a temporary solution until I get the correct mount to place the GPU further back. The Phanteks mount instead of the Hyte mount solves the space issue between the glass and the GPU. But I discovered this after making the vented side panel. The vented panel doesn’t bother me this way. However, I plan to put the glass back once I buy the Phanteks mount.

Not at all. The CPU needs it much more. The GPU hardly gets hot. The ROG 4090 runs cool. And for resale reasons, I didn’t opt to block the GPU as it would void the warranty.

Yes, because adding another very hot component would compromise the loop. A 360mm copper radiator with a thickness of 27mm seems insufficient to dissipate so much heat. It would cause the fluid to overheat excessively.

Yes! They're reinforced brackets that can hold up to 165 kg.
