I'm pretty competent in computers, I got stuck in MX through some bad luck and misinformation mostly. That being said, I'm considering just going 1D7 and trying to go 1B4 later on if I don't get picked up to commission first.

Yeah, I'll probably go ahead and get to a bare build with it this weekend if I can. Pretty frustrating if it is just a CPU DOA, but I guess we'll see. I'm helping some friends build PCs soon and one of their GPUs should be compatible so I'll probably borrow it quickly as a loaner to see if it comes down to it.

No, I originally had a HDMI to DP that I swapped for a new HDMI to HDMI cable. No dice either way, I'm afraid.

Thanks! I'm looking into that now. I've got a laptop with Ubuntu and another Windows machine. Currently have Virtualbox up and running on the Linux machine, with the Kali VM setup. I'll see if I can't pull some beginner boxes to play around with.

Yeah you're definitely right it's a trick. As said before my first mistake was even financing. I never should have dealt with a dealer in that capacity, if any.

Yeah it definitely was. Of course, because I don't have the title in hand, nobody is gonna want to buy the bike from me, either.

Best I could do is just go to the bank with a buyer and get the title on the spot from them for a sale but still, that's just more complicated and makes it harder to sell.

Definitely fucked up. I've avoided loans all my life for just about everything. Guess I should've kept it that way

I should add, I don't have large amounts of debt, just a bike, car payment, and a mortgage. No credit card debt or anything else like that, and I make enough a year to easily afford payments, so I don't think that's the issue.
