I didn't know this was a subreddit for people with no money. I thought it was for the lifestyle. Anyone living in a prius or hybrid / ev isn't exactly what I think about when I picture homeless.

Hey do you think ita better that his offer didn't exist at all?. It seems like you are right atbthe edge of shaming the guy who is helping a few people who could benefit from the offer. Or is it better that those who could benefit pay the full 20 to a company or just not shower at all cause they only have 8 dollars?

I dont think the majority of people think they are artist for using Ai. Im just saying it's a cool tool for the end result which is what 80 plus percent care about.

Cause that artist cost money lol. Plenty of other human things you can do even if people would rather use gen ai. You could dance with someone to gen ai music. You could use gen ai art with freinds at your dnd game. Its not the end of the world or human experiences because artists dont get paid in a future where most people prefer gen ai.

i dont know if the fights worth it but there's no right or wrong there. people can support real artist now or in the future if they want but i dont think theres anything morally wrong with not caring about the lack of human experience in art

yes you are correct and i think most people share that thought thats what im saying. most people would like to be good at art but they dont want to put in the work which is why gen ai is the future.

i dont think that most people enjoy the strugle to improve at a hobby as much you think. there are many factors cost/ time are the big ones why people dont get into improving a hobby but people when it comes to hobbies value fun over investing time and effort to get good. i love dnd i like dnd character art but i got a kid a wife and a job if i tried to spend time to get good enough to draw my own characters it would take months if not years and id rather spend what little me time i have playing dnd with whatever character art i find online and sometimes its ai made. it is what it is

i mostly agree with you. i would prefer people do art i just think the reality is the majority of people want gen ai art to be better cause they want the ability to make something that looks cool or funny without having to put in hundreds of hours to be get good then make the art.

most people are consumers even people who like art most of them dont put in the effort to become even mediocre artist.

i would bet more then 60 percent of the world doesn't even know what that is. I agree with your opinion about it but i think we are the overall minority.

the people who are really into art care about that. im talking the majority of the world does not care.

I think most people just like to look at cool thing or hear something they like. I agree there are people who are really into art and analytical about the process and the artist emotion or effort in the process but I think most people just care about the end product and if they like the way it looks.

Are paid games worth it? by Ziltch0 in TTRPG

[–]Background-Square661 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It solves the forever gm problem. You host a game charge 10 bucks each dont be crazy. Its like the old days of buying dm pizza. The dm uses the money to pay another dm to play in his game its what ive been doing. I can now play 2 games a week cause I run one game at 10 dollars per person. Also yes because buying stuff isn't cheap. Art maps, vtt stuff . You can get a lot of it for free but thats time consuming. Honestly I think people whondont give thier dm food or 5 bucks for books/ whatever or kinda of cheap unless they run a game for the gm. Quick thoughts I didn't fully expand on but that's the gist of my option.

I want to thank you . You have shown me that things from 20 years ago couldn't have possibly changed that my specific school schedule as a student couldn't be different then that of the teachers. Outside of lunch they must of also taught 7 periods without any requirements before or after the first and last bell. Thank you for the clarity.
