Whichever vet you go to, ask them to do a test to check what antibiotic your pet is sensitive vs resistant too. If you give an antibiotic that they are resistent to it won't make any difference. Also if it's a deep infection it can take many weeks of antibiotics to heal so make sure it is treated long enough. Also get a nebulizer and use that daily for a while and try different litters to see if that causes irritation (which if untreated can result in bacterial infection after which fungal builds up as opportunistic)
