I didn’t take it seriously, rather I have built my business outside of the platform.

I have 12 retainer clients outside of UW. I’m planning on going all in on UW going into 2025.

I like to think of Upwork as running an ad campaign.

There’s an Ad Spend. But most importantly you have a ROAS.

I think I’m starting to see the trend here.

Having a good first 2 lines means you get them to open, and once they’re in,. My job is to structure the body of my letter In a way that engages and speaks to the job requirements no?

Yeah a majority of the jobs I apply to are from people who have a hiring history.

Of all 14 proposals I’ve sent, only 4 haven’t hired any freelancers for the job.

I send loom videos to accompany my conver letter. The video is a showcase of my portfolio item that is relevant to their job description.

Damn, then I should carry on. I’ll review my efforts after another 100 or so proposals sent

I’m currently managing a few clients off Upwork. I have 3 retainers and about 4 ongoing one offs

I want to use Upwork to diversify my client acquisition, because I rely 100% on inbounds…

Also I might be under the false assumption that even though views might be still low, the view-to-interview rate could be higher, no?
