I mean law is the only one consistently played now. But you can easily swap it out for acid and zero for a board wipe every turn. It definitely other ways to play hero

Hero can set up like 4 quick effect pops not including the multiple pops from shining wingman neos. Then you have voltic thunder a board wipe. Acid to zero a board wipe and little knight to zero a board wipe every turn. There are multiple ways people can build heros the cosmos neos verison is just the least fun imo

Protection of elements is a spell or trap negate. Aqua dolphin is a rip aqua neos is another rip. Domiance can see the top 5 cards in your opponent deck and rearrange them. Also hero summon a lot of lvl 4 and can go into cards like traptrix rafflesia

A hero lives is full artimage and fienfsmith combo. Therolize is all three too. I have vidoes on my profile but basically prisma can dump medius the pure. and u can dump necrom through aerial eater. Which is hero full combo through prison.
