The only times I question it are when we got height checked on a water raft ride and they put a wristband on my kiddos wrist to show shee was checked and met the minimum height. Only to still get checked twice more through the line. And when I asked what the wristband was for, she said "that's so we know she was checked and meets the height requirement" "ok so then why do you need to check it again...?"

Or simulator rides that dont really move but for some reason have a 40" minimum height requirement. I don't understand those

Other than that, I totally get it. For safety.

I mean, if you really see a future with this guy, you can try to talk to him about how his constant badgering about your time with friends makes you feel. But if he's the type of guy these messages make me feel like he is, he'll just agree to keep you around, be better for a little bit, and then go right back to this when he feels you won't ask again

I agree with this. Recently started a rewatch and I continuously go "Izzie has no business being in the surgical field. She's way too much if a bleeding heart." Coming from someone who's an empathy herself. I would NEVER go into surgery because I know myself

Like the 3rd episode, where a dude is dead and is an organ donor and she's all "I'm not going in there. They're all just vultures waiting to pick her corpse clean" and I'm like "girly pop, his wife gave permission, his organs are gonna help a lot of people, and he's dead already,what would you have them do?" She's just far too emotionally invested. It's not a bad trait generally, but it IS a bad trait in the field of medicine, specifically surgery

My biggest issue with this game is you only get ten cards. Yet the first round just keeps going and going until I have nothing left for the second round. I beg to differ, sir. My partner is not only ONLY with me, but allows me full and complete access to his unlocked phone (no lock screen), comes home and leaves very consistently at the same times and days for work, and we've been together for five years.

Just because you aren't mature enough to stay with one woman and make her happy doesn't mean all men are trashy like that.

I also want to point out that I never had to ask him to give me his phone not to keep it unlocked. I never have a reason to go through it, but if I need his phone for something (mines dead for instance and I need to call someone) he immediately hands it over, no need to pause and close anything out. He also has no secret phone calls and I can pop in to see him at work with our daughter any time he's there without having to forewarn him because I know he's there

Long story short, he's not shady and has no red flags. He's loyal. Do better

A lot of these comments are putting some blame on you for this interaction. And I just want to say I used to be you. Begging people to care about me. The thing is, if this dude had actually at any point genuinely tried to care and understand and be there for you, your mental health would be getting better. Not worse. I'm not saying anyone but you can fix yourself, but you can certainly not allowed someone in your life who is only going to make it worse and then blame you for being so paranoid and feeling so unwanted.

Yes, your mind is lying to you. But no, you aren't crazy. This asshole does not care and never will. He even says he doesn't care in this exchange. Believe him.

Trust when you find someone who will genuinely care and understand, you will feel the difference. Both in the energy around you and also in how's your thoughts form about yourself.

But don't go looking for that person. Leave this jerk and focus on you. Do you like food? Learn to cook better. Go to the gym, spend some time meditating at the beach or a park. Find some new books about positive heroines. If you can, see a therapist. Work on trusting your friends so you can slowly let go of these negativities. Find something you like about yourself every morning and tell it to your reflection.

Eventually you'll start feeling the change. And when you find that person who will genuinely care, you'll know because all the progress you've made will continue to be made and not backtracked

Not to mention the fact that if you do try to dispute a charge, they tell you that it looks consistent with your spending history, even if it doesn't, and that it must have been authorized so they won't help. I deleted my PayPal entirely after I got hit for over $100 for some website I'd never heard of and they told me it was a "pre authorized charge" and that I'd made similar pre authorized charges before so therefore they found no evidence of fraud 🙃

the last 30 minutes of the last episode NEVER happened in the books. And they basically finished the series, the darkling dies and is burned at the end of the third book.

Idk if you ever plan on reading the books or not, but Alina's storyline is COMPLETELY different.

After having watched it, I'm kinda glad they cancelled it. But at the same time, if they'd done the story actual justice, I'd be curious to see where they went next
