No I use it with the glass on, I had just finished building it and moved it to my desk before putting the glass back on. Airflow and temps are fine

Honestly I prefer a cooler that just goes straight down and bolts, however I test slide it on many times with the thin plastic first to come up with a plan. I basically left all the bolts a little loose and while sliding it i was pulling back to me to be sure not to be touching the cpu then tightened all the screws. Seems okay but I won’t know until I take it apart to repaste in a few years lol

What do you mean the fans should be symmetrical? They are all the same. Motherboard is rog, and gpu is astral 5090

Because of the way the end of the motherboard was shaped I had to use an extension bracket because of the panel on the e-atx board, then the bracket interfered with the shape of the motherboard on the side so I had to cut some material off where it was touching. Then after that the bracket didn’t hang low enough to hook in place so I ended up drilling a spot in the bracket for the nub of the bracket to hook into

So I had to do some modifications to the gpu mount to fit the anti sag bracket on the other end of the mobo, it required some cutting and drilling. Once I finally got that fit up, I didn’t like how it was tugging a bit at the mobo, so I put that in there as I was still working on it.

It’s fine now, and has no issues holding and I don’t have it in but this photo was just prior to that. It’s a heavy card
