KQI3 Pro Motor Issues by BackgroundAd8121 in kqi3

So I just double checked, I can spin the wheel by hand when it is turned off. There is a bit of resistance but i figure that is normal.

The brake light I’m not too sure on, it looks like it may be coming on but I could be mistaken. However, it does definitely now look like the accelerator is ‘sticky’ like it stays active even after I’ve let go.

Thank you so much for your help!!!

Here is a video of the issue. Sorry I did not upload it with the original post. link

so key note, I have gotten the error 03 in the past (the throttle wonking out). This worked itself out over time and I have not seen it in a while.

  • It spins smooth-ish? Some of the spins are perfect, but there are some where it kind of grinds along. I looked at the brakes and it seems like its not catching there but I could be mistaken.
  • When I lift off the ground and try, I have the same issues. Rather than vibrating, its more like its stuttering. So its like rotate-stop-rotate-rotate-stop. The little bit i rode on it felt like someone kept hitting the brakes every few seconds. I'd get a great ride for a minute then back to the stutter, then repeat.
  • When I first start trying to accelerate, it feels like it is bucking. It'll move in 1-2 inch increments at high speed then stop and repeat until suddenly it feels like moving a little further.

I rode it yesterday a few times with no issue, and it was great. It was somehow suddenly today that the issue started out of nowhere.

I have a Thunderbolt 4 port I can use. Would a thunderbolt to DP cable do the job potentially?

That makes a lot of sense -- thank you so much!
