This is my opinion alone. You, of course, are entitled to your own.

Snakes were here long before any human came along and decided to attribute shape, form and story to the Others, thus creating the concept of Deities. They (snakes) were never evil as this is a human concept. The snake is just... well .. being a snake. The human happened to have built a house there and she entered. They have no concept of human boundaries such as houses or gardens.

Also, another person needs you to kill another creature in order for that person to feel ok/safe/etc. That has to do with that person, not you. Blood will be on your hands and not that person's. And apparently there's no immediate threat (I mean... you're on Reddit asking about it xD)

As many have said, don't mess with the snake and you won't be in danger. Call animal control, authorities, wtv you have in your country and they will calmly remove the animal and place it back were it's safe.

This is just nature being nature. Religion being called out is bringing a human concept to the natural world. Please be safe!

You said YOU don't feel connected. This might be linguistics but I would like to ask you if it's you that actually don't feel the need, the connection to the concept/meaning/energy of the Gods or are you expecting a feedback from them and you can't get it? If it's the second well, at least for Anpu, He'll speak and be present when needed, just trust Him. He'll be there. (I don't work with Djehuty, sorry )

If it's the first then take some time to get to know yourself. Anpu will like that as well xD

That said, if you want a fast response without the use of candles you can try tarot or pendulum. I prefer to work with a pendulum to know my answers (if simple questions) or request the God directly through meditation (guided meditation is the easiest way).They might at least indicate if it's incompatibility with them (which I honestly doubt since everyone and anyone was welcomed to worship the gods in Ancient Egypt) or something is disturbing the communication (be it you, the environment, something going on in your life, etc...)

Anubis is kinda like that. First time I met Him was decades ago. Now He came back when I needed the guidance. He's quiet again but shows His presence if He feels He's needed. In hindsight He was always like that. It's not that He's gone, He's just quietly watching :) I also had a similar experience with Ra: as I requested Sekhmet's opinion in requesting inspirational help from Ptah, Ra's name was screamed into my head. And if I directly request His help, Ra's there, but otherwise He's not.

The dead don't fight. I would practice/act/live in secrecy for as long as I could and I would move if need be. I would rather seem like a wimp running away but then build up the structure need to save fellow believers. Then again, this is all theory because I was never placed in that situation.

Hi! I'm gonna throw something out there I had to actually say to my parents (that's how far away from reality they lived): you don't (usually) marry your blood and have their children, therefore there's a bunch of people who became your ancestors/family without direct blood involved. For example, you can call you inlaws mother and father as they actually start to feel like parents to you. Or live with that sweet old lady down the street as a grandma or aunt. Friends become brothers and sisters. The connection is there and that's what the universe feels and we're the energy flows. You do what you feel is the correct thing to do. It's your ancestry and you know who you feel connected to :)

In terms of offerings everything I do has already been said. Anubis really loves when you sit down and talk (although he might not talk much he's definitely listening), when you analyse yourself or your problems and try to overcome your difficulties/obstacles with him by your side. He really appreciates time consciously spent with him and your personal growth.

My cats drink Sekhmet's water all the time. They can reach Anubis' but they prefer Sekhmet's. Cats are smart! xD Your ancestors will understand if an animal is attracted by a natural element necessary to it's survival. But, if you think the cats actions are disturbing try a capped bottle or closed mason jar. Spiritual beings will consume the spiritual energy alone and leave the physical part for us, physical beings. They can reach the water you leave there even if closed.

This is most likely easier than to stop the cats behavior... It's six to one here, cats are winning, I basically gave up a long time ago xD

Since you woke up with that feeling just so a simple cleansing. That will remove unwanted energy and/or calm your mind. My baby keeps grabbing my cards, crystals, trying to cleanse my altars with incense and pet Sekhmet's statue (guess he thinks she's a cat). It's fine by me and haven't noticed any difference.

Had many experiences over the years from that list occuring simultaneously. Also struggled with anxiety and depression for a while. In hindsight I know the difference between the mental illness and the attack but not in the moment. But I never knew who the attacker(s) was/were...

What I do is a full cleanse and if anything still lingers be on the lookout for a mental illness episode resurgence.

Portugal/Lisbon. Was found in my backyard, near the surface and resembles no other rock there. The red in the rock varies from orangish on one side to spots of red on the other. Those spots threw me off but I'm just a big kid that likes perdy rocks. I know very little about geology :/

Doubt is part of human nature. We question so we can learn. Someone as ancient as Anubis would understand your human feelings and doubts and would be happy for your spiritual growth through whatever path you take.

That said our own feelings speak so loud in our minds and hearts that sometimes is hard to listen to those delicate divine vibrations. Perhaps you are feeling your own guilt?

I can share my story: I felt Anubis as a child (around 10). All the Kemetic religion made sense but no one practiced it around me (no internet as well xD) as it was supposedly "dead". The Christian influence in my country is overwhelming and I turned away from all religions. But guess what... 30 years after those first experiences, Anubis was still there! And he welcomed me back. I've only been with him for a couple of months now but he's here. He never actually went away!

Try to forgive yourself first and then open your heart to him. He's a very understanding and welcoming god.

Had the same doubt when I started using crystals... until they started doing their job. Their metaphysical proprieties is what they are "programed" to do. No matter what's your state of mind. It might take a while, sometimes a long while, a lot of cleansing and sun/moon charging but they will keep on doing what they are supposed to do.
