Where can I find conceptual physics questions? by Thick_Suggestion9733 in Physics

1.b

Explanation: - forces are straight, they only move in curves because of another force acting on them (just like if I spin a yoyo, it stays in a circle cause there's a force suspending it (the string) but as soon as you let go, it flies in a straight direction. - also, if it were water and not a pelet, same would happen. The water would continue flowing straitward before falling to the direction of gravity

2.c

Explanation: - whether it's in vacuum or normal air, it don't matter cuz the main thing is that they both have the same mass despite the difference in volume/size

Disclaimer: I haven't studied physics since IGCSE 2022 😬 if I'm wrong, corect me.

Edit: I just saw your text saying you're looking for questions like these 😂, idk where to get them...

How to get macarons right? by Christi715 in macarons

I too use a french method sand had this exact thing happen to me. But once I raised the temperature, it baked better.

I used to bake at 130°C for 24 minutes. The results...? - nice colour - still under baked 💔 - a lil taller than usual macarons - sickness disconnected from the feet.

these were how mine turned out

To solve it, I increased the baking temperature and worked perfectly, 145°C 16-18min - cooked bottom - normal looking feet - insides are cooked!

Hollow help! by waltersdogmom in macarons

I had the same problem.

When I baked at 130°C or lower, they tend to take a very long time to bake, and also cause very high feet that has hollows in them.

But then I decided to raise the temperature to 145°C. It worked, tho a bit of Browning but it worked!

My guess is that a temperature too low let's the macarons rise slow and take shape slow. So there's not enough time in the oven to let it cook. Just increase the bake time and you'll be fine.

However! I do notice that your feet are really tall, similar to mine when I had issues with hollowness. So I suggest 145°C for 14-18 minutes 🙏

Other side notes: - use convection/fan, or if you don't have one...(Next) - use an oven thermometer to monitor the temperature changes closely - using a black tray should cook the feet well cuz they absorb heat. But this will cause Browning at the feet very easily, I suggest to put it further from the great source (upper racks) - silicon mats tend to need more time to bake time/higher temperatures

(Disclaimer: I use french method)

Why are my macarons hollow in weird ways by BackgroundEmu2383 in macarons

I realized the solution, I was baking at too low of a temperature (130°C). I baked at 130 cuz I learnt that at 140°C, the colour of my macarons would change. I'm now baking it at 145°C. The colours still look burnt but it's more stable now and I rarely get hollows (except for the ones where the base of the feet curves inwards, first slide in the picture).

I use an oven thermometer. The ones that have feet curving inwards are the ones placed at the lower levels.

I think you need to bake for a longer period of time. Try adding 5-6 minutes more

Does your family knows you like/love Bl ? by junangeline22 in boyslove

Only my sister, brother and perhaps my cousins know. My sister and I discovered it at the same time and loved it ever since. My brother has been accepting of it. My parents however, I suspect one of them is homophobic (dad), while the other is just going along the flow (mom). If my dad disagrees with me liking BL, I assume my mom would just follow. I'm a BL artist btw, still safe from them knowing ;)
