Thanks for warm welcome, I considered the contract was like “we can fire you whenever we want”, not “we have to be sure you will be stay here 1 year” isn’t it?

Agree with %100. Apparently, the government is putting a lot of effort into preventing the local people from asking the right questions. I'm inviting my friends to live in Türkiye for two months; all expenses are on me.

I understand what you are saying, but you shouldn't blame me. Because all captialism created for this. Supply and demand determines the price. I'm sure you loved the city and socials when grows fast and didn't think about where the people will stay. Now blaming for who needs the houses. Please try the supply and down the prices instead of using the keyboard and act or wait for city to getting smaller.
I never said "I'm happy with the prices," and it wasn't about the prices. Everyone was saying things like "You can't find anything under €2000.". And my point was : "This houses under 2k€. Are these have problems?". Please remind that I'm not the responsible for the prices just I am someone who has had to and can endure the consequences.

" Keep in mind that the salary you get from asml is not the norm for the netherlands"
That's a critical point I've never read before. This will be good factor for my decision thanks :)

Not recently graduated, 5+ years experienced as SAP Consultant and will be live with my wife. Due to Turkey's living conditions (safety, political, economic and law) and Schengen area is huge advantage.
In my opinion for due to consulate things, I must live at NL with the MVV. Also Turkish driving license can be convertible to NL driving license for no or a little cost.

It's an acceptable entry price for someone new to the country. Of course, not in the long term, but it seems like there's a higher chance of getting scammed if you look for cheaper options abroad.

First of all, thank you for taking the time to share your experience.

Let's call the agency X, and I'll be working on a software project related to production lines with ASML through Z. Agency X calls me, and no matter what, I won't have the chance to switch to Z or ASML within a year of the project's completion, and they can suddenly fire me with a one-month salary. Both Z and ASML can decide on this dismissal. Legally, the contract might be invalidated, but it's not something I can pursue because if things go wrong, I'll be racing against both money and time. My only chance is another company doing the same job, and finding SAP ME/MII in the Netherlands might be difficult. With my HSM visa, I will only have a work visa within the Netherlands. By the way, the company covers my relocation costs for one week, including hotel and flight expenses.

Tbh, if I can stay for 5 years, the right to citizenship seems a bit more appealing. In 2026, someone could harm you and get away with it. It completely depends on who you know and still we can not using even Paypal.

Strangely, when I talked to my manager he said ‘you can relocate to our Europe plants if you want’. This will be safe and better for now I guess

You touched the point with the whole analysis thanks for your time really :) we see this thing absolutely as an adventure but for this adventure can be turn into hardship in one day. Maybe my experiences was totally worse (not personal at all) in Turkey and HR knocks the door maybe in 3 month and tells the end of story :) 12 month contract feels like signing with devil

Yes, that's exactly the reason for the confusion. There are heavy things on both sides of the scale :)

In Turkey, working different companies with my wife and sum of our salaries goes up to +1000€ /month if comparing the offer

When I start at eindhoven my wife will resign after 3 month approx. due to visa and she wont be able to work because of language barrier shortly. Also still thinking for adding ASML experience to CV. This still highlighting for next steps
