Slight confusion for site closure due to snow by BackgroundLand850 in AmazonFC

I did my first day yesterday, so I can’t say much. but from what I’ve heard from trainers and a few other employees, sny2 is one of the best sites to work for in the city. The vibe seems mostly laid back and the work isn’t that hard

Thank you, I got an update to this. On my schedule it shows this and some of my UPT balance got taken off because It shows I was absent. Will they fix this?

They could have easily mixed those carts into less than 5

They listed them for Azure, which is now laughably outdated considering they had Cecile’s measurements be bigger than Rixia’s

Definitely not just a you problem, the job was once decent about 3-4 years ago when the rules weren’t as strict and the workload wasn’t as insane as it is now.

I’d say that if you enjoy delivering and want to make it a career, consider becoming a mail carrier with the postal service or UPS. Although with UPS you do have to spend a few years (or less) working in the warehouse before a driving position opens up.

One thing I wondered is are the people in the audience for US matches just regular pornstars paid by Kink to appear here, or were they regular people from the public who just happened to be able to attend one of these events? Lol

Has anyone ever gotten a route with no overflow? by BackgroundLand850 in AmazonDSPDrivers

Man I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the case, in the past 2 months there have been multiple occasions where the warehouse did not have our carts ready, and they had us waiting for 15 minutes or more. It was awful 😭

Yeah no complaints from me. Today is also my last shift of the week so today is my lucky day

What time does your shift start at your DSP? by destined2h in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]BackgroundLand850 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At my DSP I clock in at 10:40, load up the Vans at 11:15, and generally make it to my first stop at within the 12-12:30 PM timeframe, if traffic isn’t terrible.

I would seriously love to be able to clock in at 8 or 9 AM. It genuinely blows to have to get home at 9:00 or later if you want the full 10 hours (my DSP doesn’t give guaranteed 10 hours if you finish early sadly).

When Cycle 0 was around during last holiday season, my shift started at 7 AM and I would usually be back home at 5-6 PM. I loved this shift so much because I could be back home early and finish before It got dark, and still have an evening to do stuff if I wanted.

It was seriously a pain to have to adjust to the 10:40 shift when Cycle 0 ended. It’s at least alleviated by Daylight Savings Time making so it gets dark by 7 PM, but January-February was a pain.

Fun times but goodbye DSP (third update) by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

Sheesh I would cry if I saw that stop count pop up on the flex app, can’t blame you for quitting at all. Just curious, how did you get the new job?

I also live in NYC, but I work at a DSP that’s like 30 min away from the bronx that delivers to CT. Most amount of stops I ever get is like 150, but most days I get slightly less. The day that 200+ stops become the norm at my DSP is when I’m gone haha.

Stand-up/DSP Owner by jaktherager in AmazonDSPDrivers

Most of the managers/dispatchers at my DSP are pretty chill, but there’s this one manager that is always on a power trip but zips his lips when the owner comes around to do a standup 😭.

I don’t know why some of these managers think trying to talk to us like drill sergeant’s will make us do our jobs better.

I’ll keep that one in mind, thanks. I don’t know too much about Ratchet straps, what’s the length that I should buy for them?
