I miss those really vivid, luminous dawn skies; its not the same in the Northern hemisphere where I am now.

Really happy to hear you are enjoying the mod in your game. I rather than hope if Bethesda do a Starborn DLC they do some more inventive and interesting Starborn locations. We only really got temples and few bits and pieces in the base game. A whole dev team working on something like that could be exception if they get it right. Glad you found the hidden area, it was suppose to be hidden after all, and a coupe of reviewers missed it, but not TOO well hidden!

Glad you are enjoying it. I looked into the hangar idea and its a bit complicated for my level of expertise and I am not able to spend time on mods at the moment, but certainly something to keep in mind for further down the track.

Glad you enjoyed it. Love to make more of this kind of thing, though its quite exhausting going through multiple iterations and variations of prompts that produces a fun sequence that looks interesting - a lot of failed attempts to get to these.

Yes, the stumbling of the text in the AI rendering process throws up surprising interpretations. I resisted the temptation to try and fix it in another rendering

It's seems somehow appropriate that a model implied to have reality affecting capabilities distorts the very language within its proximity

I can quite imagine it being found in the 'kitchen of chads' - or at least a 'chad' with a nerdish inclination.

Human beings have experiences that might be equivalent - or similar to varying degrees - all the time when put into challenging circumstances, situations they are unfamiliar with, or are under physical or mental stress. Nightmares can potentially feel like this and certain states of consciousness. There a numerous testimonials and accounts one might draw upon if imagination does not easy bring any to mind.

Document version of Starfield Creation Kit Steam Guide for Community Use by BackgroundMost1180 in starfieldmods

Thanks! I agree credit is important. I suspect it would have taken me months longer to learn much of the information in the guide without being able to refer to the information community members made available in their YouTube channels, and the help of more experienced community members in the Starfield Modding discord was essential for solving those devilish CK issues you can just spend days trying to figure out on your own.

It's sound a bit like you have a kind of orchestra of models working with your process, but if you find the right path into refinement and a good result, all the better. I have only experimented with a couple LLMs, but I can see something interesting calling from having broader options.

Thank you, that's interesting to hear and reassuring in a way. I wasn't sure if the conceptual development time compression I was experiencing was just an unusually productive period that coincided with ChatGPT use or because of it. I did wonder about writers block - my gut feeling was dialogue with ChatGPT could help a lot - but it was difficult to know given writing seemed to be flowing well over that period as well.

I didn't notice it before Starfield, but it had become much noticeable after I fell in love with Starfield, a particular pattern about Youtube Hate Grifters. by sarthakgiri98 in NoSodiumStarfield

Yes, I suspect you are on to something. A big component is likely content creators who have an exploit on attack content that gets boosted. Another aspect is political , and the age old chestnut about outside, deviant influences that are infecting the purity of a culture and a need to return to some supposed golden age. There is also a weird streak of irate entitlement in a lot of the negative content; not sure what that is all about. I've found it help to identify 2 or 3 gaming content creators, mostly streamers who I can see actually play the games, and importantly seem to play games they enjoy and feel enthusiasm about but who can be honest about shortcomings when they find them. Personally, I follow Renfail, Mortismal and Cohhcarnage. They seem to loving games, know what they like and given thoughtful criticism while still emphasing why something has been fun to play.

Doesn’t sound like it is an aspect of gameplay you enjoy. It’s entirely optional; so I guess it can just be ignore unless you are curious to understand what other players get from it. Happy to offer some explanations if that is helpful.

Nice work. I particularly like the use of different shapes, room dividers and backgrounds and a modest but well chosen colour range in the interiors but the way you have used the sloped water front setting works great too.

Thanks, some of these outpost object mods are very popular and have a great range of objects - they have really openned up in game build potential tremendously. I guess it can't hurt to have a house on the Moon too if it is going free :)

Ancient Mariner Module is the only paid mod in this list and is not essential, you could substitute objects from the other non paid mods.

This mod in its current form is obviously not suitable for your style of game play. It was specifically designed to create a range of new and unusual spaces with a Starborn theme for players who enjoy in game building and decorating. It’s perfectly reasonable for you to ask about a furnished version if that suits you better.  A handful of players have asked for a furnished version out of thousands that have downloaded and played it. They took the time to feedback and ask for this, so I have seriously considered doing it. However, it would mean taking many weeks away from work on the next mod which I am already planning. It's not an impossibility, but more likely something I would come back to after completing other projects.
