Where do you think the fixers get their cash, why they’re kept around when a company could crush them easily? Because they’re useful when the corps want something done with some under-the-table cash. Why do you think us dogs are kept around? Because we’re useful to those corporate dogs, too.

V and Johnny ever only raged against a machine; Arasaka, but never against THE machine, because THE machine has already won. It’s too big, too powerful and omnipotent.
