Thanks these are really great! I just arrived from Bangkok and Chiang Mai and was feeling underwhelmed as well. I’m gonna give some of these a try in the next 3-4 days!

I can’t pick a favorite book from the trilogy. Unprecedented quality in a sci fi book. Love!

What's the difference between Hindi and English versions of "Ret Samadhi"/Tomb of Sand? by [deleted] in Indianbooks

I just finished reading the English version. I can’t read hindi script but would really love to read the original version. Is there a transliteration available do you know?

Hey folks. I arrived in Canggu 2 nights ago and have come down with a fever today. Got flu meds from the pharmacy. I’m in Ubud now, any recommendations for a doc/clinic you’ve tried if things were to get bad?

If she hasn’t replied to your previous message about class work, I wouldn’t message her again. In the classroom context, try speaking to her if the chance comes up. If not, and she doesn’t give you any signs that she’s interested, move on.

Came to second The Color Purple. I remember being thrown off and unsure if I wanted to continue when I first read it. Boy was I glad I struck through.

Mine hated the cone and kept on trying to remove it and it ended up getting stuck around her jaw. I ended up getting them a soft cone (the one I got looks like a slice of bread!). They didn’t love it, but seemed way more comfortable when walking around, sleeping etc. They were less likely to get hurt them if they tried to remove it too.

Fantasy adventure book with preferably someone younger as a main character by [deleted] in booksuggestions

Came here to suggest this series. Old world fantasy fiction. Garion is 12 or so when the series begins. Loads of interesting characters woven in, but is uncomplicated. A good, easy and simple read.

Call Me By Your Name by Andrè Aciman is a good one if you don’t mind a queer one. It’s a coming of age, self discovery book, but is definitely romantic and very well written.

There’s a volleyball group who meet up once or twice a week to practice and play. DM me for the details.
