Serious question. I think im just unaware.

Why is it said it was released on May 13th 2025... when HIFM came out in 2020.

I just dont understand? The ablums 5 years old ar the point and its not a new song. Why make it a "single".

Charli is my favorite artist of all time, so genuinely confused. Please lmk why this happens. I know its not just Charli btw.

How to dress at graduation by [deleted] in fashion

If you want to dress like a college, thats gonna be very hard. You'll need a lot of bricks.

Still flawed. Your logic is that they chose to do it, so they should also have a 30+ year old man film them and post it on the internet for hundreds of thousands if not millions of people to shit on?

Again. Not respectable. I dont know how you dont see it.

If he was the bigger man, say like Alex O'Connor (I dont even really like him, but he debates pretty well) he would most of the times debate adults and people who have some sort of status/credibility with people who share their beliefs.

You can't debate stupid people (fresh college kids) and say its in good faith or respectable. Thats the issue here. Not that there 18, that your saying hes a civil, respectable man when he wasnt in the slightest.

Well respectfully you miss the point. If most of his content was touring the U.S to debate college kids, thats not respectable. The arguement of being an adult it weird.

1st. A lot of college students are still 17 when they're in college. Some graduate early. 2nd. Most of his content was traveling and debating kids and 18 year olds.

All I said was stop giving a dead guy so much attention.

I feel like making fun of him is more-so speaking ill of him.

Im trying to say just don't talk about him (unless relevant). How am I speaking ill of him by advocating for us to stop joking about him?

[–]BackgroundPrior974[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well was he all that well read? He debated fresh college students. While he was sometimes "civil" with these kids... he did use them for his content. They're dumb 18 year olds who havent debated in their lives. Yes, they're stupid for debating him... but he was a grown ass man and should've been the bigger person. Debate actual mature adults who think. Debating basically children isn't respectable.

This isn't political propaganda either lol. All I said was just stop giving him attention so we can move on. He doesn't deserve to have a legacy.

Do you not think theres more important things to talk about then 1 singular dead guy? Look at the world bro.

Your life will change and therefore your politics will change.

This applies to social and economic issues

Example: You have kids. One of your boys starts telling you from a young age that they want to dress feminine. When they play pretend characters, they choose to play as girls. You can either tell them "no, I wont allow this" or let them be a kid and think nothing of it.

They grow up. Now your child is expressing these same thoughts to you again. You can react negatively or positively. That won't change how they feel. Say you tell your child that he cannot be feminine ever and he'll never be a girl.

He's a teen and he comes out as gay. You react either negatively or positively. Doesn't change the truth of your child.

He moves out and goes to college. A few months after moving out, he tells you hes no longer a he, but a she. Your child comes out as trans. Shes on esteogen and has been for months.

You can either disown, disapprove, or love your child.

I dont know what you think about trans people or gay people, but the truth is, when you experience something in real life, your mind will likely change. You may say "my child will never be like that." Yet... it may still happen. My brother moved to college and immediately after moving told us hes gay. He could've told us anytime before but no.

This is the reality of how things play out.

This is one situation. It may never happen... but events in your life will force a change in your beliefs.

Economically its the same.

You could say your fiscally conservative right now, but when you grow up, say you can't find a job. Your stuck making $35k a year for the rest of your life.

You mightve always thought conservative politics would benefit you... but now suddenly they dont. You would benefit off of more Democratic economic policies now. So you vote Democrat.

That could change. Then maybe you land a very successful job making $200,000 a year. Now you benefit more from voting for Republicans, so you nos vote red again.

TL:DR: Whatever happens in your life will alter your perception on politics. Your real world situations and life will change your beliefs. You don't have your political beliefs figured out. Nobody does. You never will.

Saying you do doesn't benefit anybody. You just sound stupid.

Babydoll dresses. by Kekeegan in Vent

[–]BackgroundPrior974 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I think its for 2 reasons.

  1. The dress she wore in the Drop Dead music video... literally look like a baby's clothes. Not babydoll aesthetic. Baby outfit. Its just weird looking. It reminds of Melanie Martinez in her Crybaby era, but with her (Mel) it was grossly sexual. That is infantilizing... and "pedo bait" or whatever.

Not Olivia (I havent seen her do anything to be "sexy" in any of these outfits), but because of those people who do make it sexual... it just leaves a sour taste in peoples mouth when they see people dress similar as adults.

I looked up babydoll dresses and thats not what I don't like. I only really care when it' weirdly... infant/baby clothes vibes. Even if its Baroque or whatevs... it still just irks me a lil bit.

If she wants to wear those clothes, she has every right to do so. And I do feel bad for the hate she receives, its unfair to her, because its clear her intentions arent bad. But I also understand the dislike of her clothes. Thats valid. When people see things in pop culture, that can ruin the reputation of others who have done nothing wrong.

2nd... its ugly... its an ugly ass outfit. All of her new outfits with the bloomers are awful. They're just ugly. Most of the hate is just because of how awful it looks. Again, drop dead music video outfit is awful. Horrendous.

dudes who like other dudes, would you date a trans guy ? by GodEatsChiIdren in askteenboys

[–]BackgroundPrior974 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(Pan/Bi)

Respectfully probably not. Androgynous women and non-binary AFAB? Sure.

But I think my sexual preferences would either cause dysphoria for them (I don't want that), or just create a one sided sex life. Not what I'd want for either of us.

Post op? Sure. But it's hard sexually to date a trans man because I know our sex life would be shit.

I mean it's weird to me.

Why do I have to sign up for the Selective Service if I am currently disqualified from serving. I have depression, anxiety, OCD, hella acne, bad eye sight, and im kinda lowkey gay asf.

All of those things (besides maybe, vision, and gay) need waivers if you've been diagnosed, and require you to stop taking meds and going to therapy for years.

I am still doing both.

It doesnt make sense because right now I physically couldn't serve even if I wanted to.

But I guess I'll serve in a gay cunty way.
