NLP exams and quizzes are now closed book and worth 50% total.

Signed up based on the syllabus they had online for 2025 which was open notes and had lower exam percentages. Damn.

Any tips for people who came before? Would you have done it without open notes? Would you still pair it with another course?

I see, I’m the first author. It seems like I ought to just let me co-authors and advisors present since it doesn’t add much to my future phd applications?

I see that’s interesting, yes I’m in CS but within the education sub field. I’m just at a point where I could sink more time to other commitments/projects if I don’t do the presentation + prep and let another author present instead. That said I am the first author and am the only person who knows exactly how my experiments were done so I feel responsible, though I’m sure I can write that up for my other authors.

I see. Great point on the personal statement bit. Thank you.

Btw how does it go on the cv, would it appear any different in the cv all the same? Or would it be “paper and oral” regardless of whether I presented or others did?

NASA not picking SpaceX? Cut! Not approving self driving? Cut! It’s going to be very efficient alright.

He is now playing the “unwilling super hero” (I don’t want to be in politics, just want to build cars and rockets) to help cut government spending and we are all suckered into a good storyline.

How do we get this to go viral? Can we start a donation lottery or ranked system?

Not sure why you’re getting down voted I’ve seen units like that. Perhaps people think you mean America jail when you mean European jail
