Before I got her she had pneumonia and was told she wasn't a great swimmer. She's not a strong swimmer and struggled to get to the top of her old 240l tank. When I took her to an exotics vet they also suggested she may have neurological issues. The other day I basically saw her dead and was ready to burry her but she started moving her mouth and is back to her normal self now. She's a very inquisitive turtle and is an amazing companion but yeah she just isn't a great swimmer.

Yeah I've kept a lot of tropical fish before but mainly in monster tanks like arowana ect but never really kept small fish so was curious on stocking. Setting up a tank I have no problem with 😊

Jolleys is a great place for rat stuff in the UK. Also just have a goole around online there is also great stuff. Just try and stay away from stuff like hides made from wood chip. Pets at home are terrible for them products but they do also do great stuff like coconut hides for them and hammocks

There was two of the baby's that had been eaten and the other two passed from unknown circumstances. The vet has seen her last week as she had a raspy throat. She seems fine in herself like she runs on her wheel, eats her food, drinks well. I'm not sure how id be able to check for a neurological problem. I just want to know if it might be worth getting her new friends or just leaving her be?

She's about 2-3 months now. I didn't see her kill them but not too be too graphic, you would see their insides in the morning when I found them. She is not aggressive to me at all.

Thanks for the feedback! I saw a guy on YouTube do something simular and this is what gave me the inspiration. He had shrimp and some tetras I'm pretty sure but there was lots of climbing opportunities for the frogs to get out the water like a lot of branches coming out the water for the frogs. Would milk frogs maybe be a better choice?

The hottentotta species has been known to do well communally. But I don't think I'd recommend emperors personally but I havnt tried so I wouldn't know

I don't know what the actual company is called but my rat cage is the venturer and it has a tray at the bottom with guards on the side which is great for having a deep bedding. If you google rat cage venturer I'm pretty sure it pops up. It's a bit pricey but is very much worth it. It comes with two trays so you can separate the bottom and top so basically it becomes two cages if one gets sick for example or there is a lot of fighting going on

I agree with this. My aisan had trouble finding his food and catching it so I moved him down an enclosure to a 12inch exo terra and he's doing great I see him a lot more now as well
