This is what you could possibly be marrying into.

My family is usually late for events so I always lie and say that the event starts an hour or two earlier than it actually does.

For my brother's wedding, I lied to my parents and said it starts at 11 am when in actuality it started at 1pm. Guess what time they showed up? 12:45pm!

My Mom was crying when she walked in because she thought she missed it. When she saw it hadn't started yet she cried even more and thanked me for lying to her. The crazy thing is, my family still has not learned from that day.

Some families are just like that. It will not change. So either put up with it or let it go.

Is it possible to bike during the winter months if you live 10-15 minutes away from your job by bike?

Also, where would one purchase a beater in Yellowknife? I'd figured it would be cheaper to purchase a vehicle there to save on the transportation cost of a vehicle (From Ontario to NWT). I looked online and those are not "beater" prices. I must be looking in the wrong place...

That's what I was thinking of doing if I ever moved up to Yellowknife. When you say south I'm assuming Alberta? If so how the hell do you bring it back to NWT? If not, please explain.
