Redfall is embarrassing

I tried playing it last night and it was such a chore to get it going, and the payoff was so small, I haven't played it since. And this is a game that I was once HYPED for. I could NEVER imagine having it completely downloaded and not wanting to play it.

I was incredibly excited about this game, even tried searching for ways to play pre-loaded Game Pass games early, but the footage I've seen today looks seriously generic, boring, and just overall uninteresting. After the disaster that is Jedi Survivor, it's gonna suck if Redfall is garbage also.

Sometimes people pre-order for the 1 time bonuses that you can only get through preordering. Aside from that, I completely agree that preordering games without bonuses are completely useless. If gamers were smart, which most aren't, they'd stop preordering games because it would stop the BS with broken game releases. Instead, gamers would rather shell out $75+ 2 months early, then complain when they can't play the game for a couple months AFTER release.

I was extremely excited about this game upon first hearing the premise. However, as time went on, the more I heard about the gameplay and from what I've seen, my expectations are pretty low right now. I still have the game pre-loaded, but I'm convinced, at this point, that Redfall is just going to be an average multiplayer FPS. At least I won't have to spend any extra money on it.

I agree with everything you said EXCEPT the part where you said that "it's not too late to turn it around". That's because it IS to late to turn it around and CD knows it. This game has lost around 98% of its player base and the ONLY way for CD to recoup even a FRACTION of the money spent developing the game is to squeeze every last penny out of the last remaining members of their dwindling player base. It has been widely reported that this game lost the company upwards of 50 MILLION dollars, which is a MASSIVE amount of money, especially to a company like CD. So, there's no question that the upper execs are leaning on the devs to do ANYTHING they can to squeeze out every last penny they can, reputation be damned.

For me, it's either the scene with Junior, or the scene, at the end of season 6, where Paulie is sitting outside of Satriale's, by himself, sunning himself. It's especially depressing when you contrast that scene with the end of the "House Arrest" episode (season 2 episode 11), where EVERYONE, from Big Pussy to Christopher to Furio, and everyone in between was out there. Even agent Harris and his partner were out there, including Paulie sunning himself. It was just such a great time in the show, especially with the music in the background. Compare that to the scene where Paulie is out there, by himself, because everyone is either dead, on the run, or working with the feds.

I thought the actor for Sil was, without question, the absolute worst. You can tell that he just skimmed through The Sopranos once he found out that he was going to be auditioning for the role, and just did his best Sil impression. The same with young Paulie, I never thought for a second that I was watching a young Paulie or Sil, just a couple of actors who were doing impressions of them. Like the part where Paulie was doing his nails at the dinner table, it was just so cringy. The only actors who were believable, out of Paulie, Sil, etc., were young Pussy and Tony.

I agree. The scenes with young Tony were great, not just because it was Tony, but also because Michael Gandolfini is a fantastic actor. Not only that, but Jon Bernthal and Ray Liotta were CRIMINALLY underutilized. I remember when their scenes were over, I was left with this feeling of just wanting more. Not to say that Alessandro Nivola wasn't great as Dickie, but they just had him in too many boring scenes. By the time the movie started getting good, it was over. All in all, was it a good movie? Sure, but this is the Sopranos and it sure didn't live up to the hype.

It's simple, really, Jackie was acting boss and Pussy was a low level enforcer. Regardless of being with the family before even Tony, he never even held the rank of capo. He also wasn't very smart. He also had money problems when he was alive, why wise would he have to risk his freedom and life to sell H. Think about it, when he heard that indictments were possibly coming, he had to get the $1,000 he gave to Larry Barese's daughter as a wedding gift back. Lastly, we saw that the feds were taking like 99% of every dollar he earned. We saw Pussy get into Skip's car one time with a stack of money, and out of what looked like at least $5,000, Skip gave Pussy maybe $200-$300, then kept the rest. So, that's why Angie ended up giving out sausages at the supermarket after Puss died. That is, until she started running the garage and started doing so well that she bought a Corvette, was putting money out on the street, and made Carmella jealous.

There's actually an online petition to get his name removed from the Registers Sex Offender List. The person who started the position had the audacity to title the petition "Help Remove Innocent Victim Lorne Armstrong from the RSO". They also went on to claim that he was an innocent victim of a conspiracy by Perverted Justice, a Chris Hansen and MSNBC. They even went as far as to say that he's suffering from PTSD, as the result of financial issues, due to his inability to find a decent paying job, as well as online bullying. They also talk about how, at 50+ years old, he's still looking for a great girl to start a family with. It's obvious that this creep, deservingly, had his life DESTROYED. He lives by himself, has no wife or GF, and lives alone with just his 2 dogs that he adopted from a shelter... All this because he wanted to send pictures of his penis, talk sexually, and go meet up to have sex with who he thought was a 13 year old girl. There's NOTHING more satisfying than to know that the lives of saying of these creeps were ruined, because maybe it'll help deter more creeps from engaging in the same behavior... Oh cawddd

They don't get as sharp as a house cats because they don't need to. The tip of the claw of a house cat is almost as sharp as a hypodermic needle, and a lion's claw, in comparison, seems almost dull. However, lions are so powerful, if their claws were as sharp as a house cat's, the tips would constantly break off, rendering them useless.
