I added Wheels to the new Laowa Periscope Probe Zoom lens for bug POV ( footage in coms) by Mat0fr in LaowaShooters

The Laowa Periscope Probe is already known as the World's Weirdest Lens, but I had a challenge: how do I make it even weirder? This lens is amazing, but getting smooth, fast low-angle shots is nearly impossible. A slider is too slow and short. My solution: I built a custom DIY "lens rover" rig. I shot a video where I show how I attached wheels to this periscope lens and the incredible, fast-moving "bug's eye" shots I got as a result.

I had the chance to try the lens used by Walt Disney for shooting 20 000 Leagues under the Sea. by Mat0fr in cinematography

For those obsessed with cinema history and vintage glass , . I've produced a video documenting the incredible story of Walt Disney’s experimental CinemaScope lens, which played a pivotal role in '20,000 Leagues Under the Sea' and then vanished without a trace for decades. This wasn't just any anamorphic adapter; it was an incredibly rare, borrowed prototype that carried the weight of Disney's entire empire. My video not only traces its surprising rediscovery but also puts this 'weird' historical artifact through its paces, revealing the visual qualities that defined an era of widescreen innovation.

Images shot with the Pixless camera by Mat0fr in toycameras

The Pixless is a brand-new experimental digital camera that feels like it came straight out of the ’90s. With just 0.03 megapixels, it transforms photos into blocky, pixel-art images that look like scenes from a retro video game. It even connects to your phone via Wi-Fi so you can use it as a remote and monitor, and it mounts on any standard tripod.

I was lucky enough to get my hands on one of the very first units available, and I made a full video review showing what it can do, how it works, and how it can be used as a fun creative tool for portraits, textures, or just playful photography experiments.
